The high speed, high production, jersey,


and fleece machines are ideal for producing
the finest quality single-knit fabrics. The
computer-designed, closed-cam track
system ensures positive needle control and
provides superb stitch definition. The jersey
machine is equipped with angular sinker
technology to improve fabric quality and
lower the defect rate, even at the highest
speeds. The Delta machine is equipped with
a three-level sinker cam (U.S. Patent
5,477,707, Foreign Patents Pending),
designed for ultra high speed knitting.

VPL Knit Monitoring System
(KMS)
Vanguard Pai Lung’s Knit Monitoring system is a
complete package to schedule, monitor and
manage a Knitting Room. The system uses many
advantages to give you the information you
want when you want it. The Ethernet network
that connects the machines to PC is fast, reliable
and is easily supportable by any IT department.
This eliminates special networking bridges and
cost to bring data from the machines to the
database software. Reports can be generated
and exported to practically any platform. Real-
time devices keep track of when things happen to
give the most accurate information.
Benefits of the VPL KMS
Fabric Defect Scanner - Using infrared fabric defect scanning reduces yarn and knitted fabric
waste considerably by detecting defects immediately. The defects are tagged by location and type
for inspection. This increase overall plant efficiency and fabric quality.
Yarn Rate Monitor - Yarn Rate monitoring will detect overfeeds and underfeeds of yarn usage.
This will correct density, porosity, sizing and shrinkage issues, which ultimately saves you a
considerable amount in yarn usage.
Machine Speed Increase Allowance - Increasing speeds while maintaining quality resulting in an
increase of production and effectiveness. This is done through maintained awareness of the
machine healthiness using real-time data from the Knit Monitoring System. Yarn
