and the ideas where as an educational provide means to realize them. Discuss these
statements with example.
INTRODUCTION

Education may be referring to the process of initiating the individual to desirable

skills. Knowledge, attitude for the development of individual and the society.
Therefore, the primary aims of education is to sustain an individual and societal
improvement. Educational programs and policies play an essential role in these
social and individual processes. Democracy is government by the peoples in which
the supreme power is rested in the people and exercised directly by the people or
by their elected agents under free electoral process. Democracy has played a
pivotal role in shaping conception of public education classic contribution to
modern political believe and explanations, have dealt specifically with the
educational necessities of establishing and maintaining a democratic institution.

MAIN BODY

Historically education theory has been closely related to major movement in the
socio-politico-economic structure. Speculating about the nature of the advancing
society will provide a basic for new conceptualizations in education. It is proposed
that education will need to consider the concept of change, conscious awareness
and cooperation in the context of a concern for the survival of mankind. By
employing “new basic” and new conceptualization congruent with the change
nature of society, education will prepare individual for successful living in the
future.

Wagschal (1979) contend that in the 1980. Conceptualization for “learning

tomorrow” are required to bridge the gap between back to the basics movement
and vision of a new forms of schooling. The present paper attempt to provide
conceptual view of education which may be appropriate in the future. Existing
theoretical orientation may be limited in preparing student for effective functioning
in an ever changing society. The influence of a rapidly changing socio-polico
economic framework may be of considerable significant in the development of
future conceptualization of education.

It is generally agree that the process of education is strongly influence by the spirit
of the time. Hutchin (1968 p.13) stated that historically it (education) has been
bound by politics, economic technology and the social order major movement in
society. However, also contribute to the temporary view regarding the nature of the
individual increased knowledge and understanding of the individual often become
incorporated into emerging education philosophies since the time of the country
according to Tomkins (1978 p.2). educators have sought to identify the sources of
content in the familiar model that interrelated the society, the learners and the
discipline. Since societies are never static, but rather continually in process of
change, there is reason to assume that a new emerging societal system will result in
the new conceptualization of education and human behaviour prior too examine.

The aim and ideas education provide the mean to realized them

Education is understood as necessary mechanism that supports government

centered institutions. The focus is on preparing citizen for orderly civic
participation centered on obeying the law and voting in national, state and local
elections. Public education role is primarily one of promoting social stability to
ensure political eontinuity and economic growth.

CONCLUSION
Democracy in all its forms is a continuity project. The development of its
necessary element including public education is uneven. Competitive
individualism as the exclusive method for achievement in learning and life restricts
both instructional and civic practice. The dominant result has been a shallow
American democracy with voter indifference eleite-dominated public discourse
and growing citizen disengagement.
