Door in the Woods (2019)

The movie door in the woods is a thriller movie where a family who is new to the town
and trying to establish themselves in the new place, finds a strange door in the woods.
Things turn to become mysterious and worse when they bring that door into their house.
In this video, I’m going to talk about this thrilling movie.

When the movie begins, Evelyne can be seen settling some sculptures on a wooden
rack. She then receives a message to pick up her son Kane from school. Immediately
after receiving the message, she goes to Kane’s school to pick him up. Over there
Evelyne meets her husband, Red. While they are talking casually they meet Kane’s
principal whose name is Raleigh. She says that Kane is slowly settling into the school
and Evelyne thanks her for admitting Kane into her school. Evelyne meets her son and
gives him a small toy car that Kane wanted to have. She takes him from the school. On
the way, Kane complains that the school isn’t good, as the teachers are mean and his
classmates tease him. His mother consoles him that it is one of the best schools and
that things will get better as time progresses.

After that, we can see a friend of Evelyne named Juryah comes to her house. Juryah
seems to be a taro reader or fortune teller. Although Juryah isn’t clear with his words,
however, he seems to be giving some hints by reading the cards. Before Evelyne could
understand anything, Red and Kane arrive at home. Kane is sad because he was
bullied by his classmates. On the other hand, Red isn’t happy meeting Juryah at his
home. Therefore, Evelyne politely asks Juryah to visit her house next week to give
blessings. Later when she talks about Kane with her husband she finds out that Kane
hit his bully classmates and therefore is suspended for three days. Here, the husband
and wife have a small argument where Red supports Kane’s action while Evelyne was
against it.

After the argument they came to a common conclusion that they should punish him by
restricting Kane from playing video games, watching TV, and using other apps for two
weeks. Evelyne and red decided to go on a hike in the woods so Kane is very happy
listening to that. Kane is seen to be excited about the hike in the woods. When on the
hike, Red surprises Evelyne by telling her that he did all the necessary preparation for
the online store Evelyne was planning. Evelyne is very happy but suddenly notices that
Kane is missing. They find Kane near a mysterious wooden door. The door is
mysterious because it is standing without any support and it is locked although the door
is standing alone and the keys are also left there. Evelyne finds the door to be useful
and hence convinces Red to take it home. They take the door home and Evelyne works
on the door to make it good. They fit the mysterious door as a door to their closet.
