1. To get the lower boundary, just subtract

0.5 from the lower limit. To get the less

than cumulative frequency, just add
each frequency starting at the bottom.
And to get the midpoint of class limits,
find the middle value of class limits.

2. Q3= 29.5 + (74.5-64/13)3

= 29.5 + (10.25/13)3
= 29.5 + 2.37
Q3= 31.87
P72= 29.5 + (71.28-64)3
= 29.5 + (7.28/13)3
= 29.5 + 1.68
P72= 31.18
D8= 32.5 + (79.2-77/9)3
= 32.5 + (2.2/9)3
= 32.5 + 0.73
D8= 33.23

3.Formula: PR= [100/99] [ (P-LB)fp/i + cfp]

PR= [100/99] [ (32-29.5)13/3 + 64]
PR= [1.01] [ (2.5)13/3 + 64
PR= [1.01] [ 10.83 + 64 ]
PR= [1.01] [74.83]
PR= 75.58 = 76%
76% of the scores are less than the
cumulative frequency of 32, while
24% of the scores are greater than the cumulative frequency of 32.
PR= [100/99] [ (23-20.5)9/3 + 23]
PR= [1.01] [ (2.5)9/3 + 23]
PR= [1.01] [ 7.5 + 23 ]
PR= [1.01] [30.5]
PR= 30.81 = 31%
31% of the scores are less than the
cumulative frequency of 23, while
69% of the scores are greater than the cumulative frequency of 23.
4.A students score should be in the top
10% of all scores, so that means they
must have a score of at least 90%
and above in order to be considered
for a college scholarship. Since,
Dennis and Christine have a score
of less than 90%, they are unqualified
for a scholarship.
LEARNING TASK 2: Based on Research
Mini-Research Title: The Performance of Grade-10 Padre Jose Burgos Students in
Mathematics at Bacoor National High School Molino Main in the Third Quarter Summative
Test of the School Year 2021-2022.

I. Background of the Study

Mathematics is one of the least popular disciplines for whatever reason. Many pupils have
poor grades and show little enthusiasm in their classes. As a result, students must identify
which pupils are having difficulty and intervene to assist them in overcoming these
obstacles.
II. Statement of the Problem
This mini-research will assist the researcher in determining the performance of Grade-10
Padre Jose Burgos students in Mathematics at Bacoor National High School Molino Main
during the third quarter of S.Y 2021-2022.

III. Significance of the Study

This researcher might be able to spot students that require assistance and intervention in
this area. This will tell whether or not the kids in Padre Jose Burgos's Grade 10 class are
struggling with math.

IV. Methodology
A. Research Design
This is quantitative research. Documentary analysis was used in conducting this mini-
research.

B. Participants/Respondents
Grade-10 Padre Jose Burgos at Bacoor Nation High School Molino Main.

C. Data Gathering
The data were taken from the survey’s result of students in this section.

The class has an average of 13% in Math.
*(The next one is on the yellow pad paper and after that, are these texts below.)

IV. Results and Findings (Evaluation)

The class has an average of 13% in Math.
75% of the students (30) has a score of less than or equal to 15.
25% of the students (10) has a score of greater than or equal to 15.
63% if the scores are less than the cumulative frequency of 75.
37% of the scores are greater than the cumulative frequency of 75.
V. Conclusion and Recommendation
Based on the results, the Grade-10 Padre Jose Burgos got a low mastery level of
performance for the third quarter in Mathematics. There are only 37% of a total students
who passed the summative test and most of the students got a failing grade.

The Math Teachers of Padre Jose Burgos section must prepare intervention materials for
that 63% of the class who failed to reach above 75% of the grade.

LEARNING TASK 3: Be a Researcher

The Nutritional Status of Grade 7-Compassion Students in Mathematics at Bacoor
National High School – Molino Main

I. Background of the Study

The current bodily status of a person or a population group in relation to their condition of
sustenance is known as nutritional status (the consumption and utilization of
instruments).

The body index is the most common and widely used metric for measuring nutritional
status (BMI). BMI is straightforward to calculate, but it has certain faults, the most notable
of which is that it does not provide information on body mass composition (body fat, muscle
tissue, and water content). As a result, in adults with well-developed musculature, a test
suggesting overweight or obesity is typically erroneous.

II. Statement of the Problem

This mini-research will help the researcher to find out the nutritional status of the Grade 7
students at BNHS-Molino Main.
Specifically, it will answer the following questions:
1. What is the average BMI of Grade 7 students?
2. What is the percentile of the severely wasted Grade 7 students?
III. Significance of the Study
Students will benefit from the promotion of good lifestyle behaviors, keeping a healthy body
weight, a well-balanced diet, frequent cardiovascular activity, and cognitive self-
management strategies are all required for long-term effects.

As a result, the goal of this research is to learn more about the facts surrounding students'
present nutritional state and to find solutions to help malnourished kids succeed in their
classrooms. The conclusions of the study are also founded on the idea that "no learning
occurs on an empty stomach."

IV. Methodology
A. Research Design
This is quantitative research. Interview Method and Purposive sampling was used in
conducting this mini-research.

B. Participants/Respondents
Grade 7- Compassion at BNHS-Molino Main for this S.Y 2021-2022

C. Data Gathering
The information was gathered through informal interview (online and in person). To collect
the data, first, the students’ weight and height were measured, then their birth dates were
recorded (day/month/year) or their age. Permission to conduct the study was granted by
Mrs. Bandales.

normal weight.

 Therefore, 9% of the class has a BMI of less than 17 and are classified as severely wasted
while 91% has a BMi which is greater than or equal to 17.

V. Results and Findings

The Grade 7-Compassion students has a BMI average of 22.59%
9% of the class has a BMI of less than 17 and are classified as severely waster while 91%
has a BMI which is greater than or equal to 17.

VI. Conclusion and Recommendation

 Based on the results, the 32 grade-17 students have a normal weight for this school year
2021-2022. However, 9% of the class has a BMI of less thank 17 and are classified as
severely wasted.

The nutritional state of the child should be a top priority for the parent/guardian, who
should give nutritious and sufficient foods. We must educate our children the meaning and
value of excellent nutrition as parents and teachers so that they can develop healthy eating
habits that will help them to achieve their full potential for the rest of their lives. In order to
achieve their best academic potential, students must eat healthily. In schools, parents and
children must be taught about the need of appropriate nutrition. It's critical to monitor
pupils with a squandered or severely wasted BMI's academic performance on a frequent
basis. The school and its staff are working to reduce the causes of malnutrition.
Stakeholders must cooperate.
