3. Power limited by input voltage
When the bidirectional module works in rectification mode and on-grid inverter mode, the accuracy control of the output
power is based on the calculation and measurement on the DC side. When working in rectification mode, the relationship
between output power and input voltage is shown in the figure below. When the input voltage is between 324Vac~485Vac (the
hysteresis is less than 5V), the module can output a maximum power of 22KW. When the input voltage is between 260Vac~
324Vac, the module outputs linearly reduced power.
The relationship between module output power and three-phase input voltage is shown in Figure 1-9
when the input voltage is between 260Vac and 324Vac, the module can still work normally, but in the limited power mode. The
relationship between the module output power and the three-phase input voltage is shown in Figure 1-9.

6.Regulation of output current limiting point

The module has the function of stepless current limiting. The current limiting point within the scope of 0 A~75A is adjustable
through the external monitoring module. When the output voltage is within 300Vdc ~ 1000Vdc, the current limiting accuracy of the
module is ±0.5A.
7.Regulation of output voltage
The output voltage of the module can be regulated constantly through the external monitoring module, with regulation range of
150Vdc ~ 1000Vdc and minimum regulation step of 0.1Vdc.
8.Fan control
The built-in processor of the module can regulate the speed of the fan according to the internal temperature and output current
of the module.
9.Protection of input overvoltage/ voltage shortage in rectification mode

When the Module works in rectification mode and input voltage is less than 260Vac or more than 535Vac, the protection
indicator light is on and the module stops working, without output. Meanwhile, this condition will be transmitted to the monitoring
module. When the input voltage returns to the normal range, the alarm disappears and the module returns to the standby state.
10.Protection of input overvoltage/ voltage shortage in on-grid inverter mode
When the Module works in on-grid inverter mode and input voltage is less than 200Vdc or more than 1020Vdc, the protection
indicator light is on and the module stops working, without output. Meanwhile, this condition will be transmitted to the monitoring
module. When the input voltage returns to the normal range, the alarm disappears and the module returns to the standby state.
11.Output overvoltage protection in rectification mode
When the Module works in rectification mode, the overvoltage protection points can be set by the monitoring module:
The voltage setting range is 200Vdc to 1020Vdc and the factory default is 1020Vdc. Manual intervention is required when a
voltage-shortage protection alarm occurs. Manual intervention methods include resetting the module through the monitoring
module or removing the module from the system.
After the external output is overvoltage, when the output voltage returns to normal, the module returns to the standby state.
12.Protection of output overvoltage/ voltage shortage in on-grid inverter mode
When the Module works in on-grid inverter mode and three-phase output voltage is less than 260Vac or more than 535Vac, the
protection indicator light is on and the module stops working, without output. Meanwhile, this condition will be transmitted to the
monitoring module. When the input voltage returns to the normal range, the alarm disappears and the module returns to the standby
state.
13.Over-temperature protection
BEG1K075G Bidirectional AC/DC Module User’s Manual
8 Bidirectional AC/DC Module BEG1K075G

The environmental over-temperature protection point is 78°C±3°C. When the internal temperature is too high, the module will
protect the shutdown. After the temperature is restored, the module will resume work, and the output current and voltage will return
to the default value.
14.Protection of internal bus fault
When the internal bus voltage of the module is beyond the overvoltage/ voltage shortage protection point, the module will be
powered off automatically. At this time, there is no output from the module and the fault indicator light is on.
15. Short circuit protection
When the module is short-circuited, the protection shuts down, the red indicator on the panel is on; and the "module failure" is
reported to the monitoring which can query the current alarm information of the module through the protocol. Short-circuit
protection requires manual intervention. Manual intervention methods include: resetting the module through the monitoring module,
or disconnecting the module from the system to reset.
16.Interruption of background communication
When the module communication is interrupted for more than 10S, the module is shut down and protected, no voltage output,
and the protection indicator flashes. When the communication of the module is restored within 10S~20S, the protection indicator
returns to normal, and the module resumes work according to the default parameters. If the communication interruption time
exceeds 20S, the module will return to the standby state after the communication is restored.
17.Protection against fan fault
When the fan fails, the module will generate a fan failure alarm and the fault indicator will flash. At this time, the module shuts
down and no voltage is output. After the fault is eliminated, the module returns to the standby state.
18.Monitoring performance
The bidirectional module is equipped with DC CAN bus.

Chapter 2 Installation and Instructions

2.1 Installation
The bidirectional module shall be installed according to the following steps:
1. Grasp the handle of the bidirectional module with one hand and hold the bidirectional module with the other hand to insert
the module into corresponding position of the cabinet.
2. Push the bidirectional module into the slot slowly.
3. Tighten the two set screws on the panel of the bidirectional module and fix the module on the cabinet.
4. Install the bidirectional module in the cabinet successively from left to right.

2.2 Application
The bidirectional module can operate when the system is powered on after it is installed in the system cabinet.
Application environment
1. Overvoltage category for installation: Overvoltage category II.
2. Degree of pollution: PD2.
3. Altitude: below 2,000m.a.s.l; derating is required when the altitude is above 2,000m.a.s.l.
4. AC input distribution system: TN or TT system.
5. System exhausted-air volume requirements:
The amount of exhaust air required by the system should be calculated according to the formula of the thermal design.
According to the formula: Q=CMΔT (ΔT is the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the system, the outdoor
cabinet generally chooses 10 degrees. If the air duct is not good, this value should be reduced again. And the indoor cabinet can
increase the temperature difference properly), The total loss Q of the system is obtained by the efficiency of the system (the Q
value of the strong sunshine area also needs to be added with solar radiation): M (air mass required for heat dissipation) = Q / C /
ΔT (C is the specific heat capacity of the air), V = M / ρ (mass / density) to obtain the air volume (m ^ 3/s), in this way, the air
volume of the system can be obtained, but this air volume is the actual air volume required by the system. Corresponding to the selection
of the fan, the fan should be selected according to the actual air volume of 2 times (the maximum air volume of the air volume is
actually unachievable). The actual work efficiency point is about 0.5 times the maximum air volume).
Simplified design, according to the air volume of a single module fan is 405 CFM, the total airflow of the system should be
not less than N*405CFM, N is the number of modules.

2.3 Cabinet power distribution

The full version of the BEG1K075G module supports three working modes, rectification mode, on-grid inverter mode, and
off-grid inverter mode. In rectification mode, the AC terminal is connected to the mains and the DC terminal is connected to the
battery. The BEG1K075G module converts the energy of the mains into DC current and charges the battery. In the on-grid
inverter mode, the AC terminal is connected to the mains and the DC terminal is connected to the battery. The BEG1K075G
module converts the energy of the battery into AC and transmits it to the grid. In off-grid inverter mode, the AC terminal is
connected to the electric equipment, and the DC terminal is connected to the battery. The BEG1K075G module converts the
energy of the battery into AC of rated voltage and frequency to provide energy to the electric equipment.
The cabinet power wiring diagram is as follows:

BEG1K075G

Fig. 2-1 cabinet power wiring diagram

The input and output power lines of all modules in the cabinet need to be short-circuited. The signal wires of all modules
should also be short-circuited. Among them, DC CAN is used for communication between cabinet monitoring and modules, and
AC CAN is only used for parallel control communication within the modules.
Note: When the module is working in rectification mode or on-grid inverter mode, the system needs to disconnect the KM2
switch and close the KM1 switch, so that the AC port of the module is connected to the grid and the AC load. When the module is
working in off-grid inverter mode, the system needs to disconnect the KM1 switch and close the KM2 switch, so that the AC port
of the module is only connected to the AC load.
The modules shipped currently do not support the off-grid function, and can be streamlined in use:
1. The N line of the module is directly suspended.
2. 8 signal wires, except for DC CANH and DC CANL, the others are all suspended.

2.4 Wiring of cabinet Recommendations

1. Separate the power wiring and communication lines of the cabinet to avoid spatial coupling interference between them; Pay special
attention to the DC CAN communication bus line not too close to the power line.
2. The incoming and outgoing lines of the rectification module inside the system should be bundled on both sides of the module
enclosure and cannot block the air duct of the module air outlet, as shown in Figure 2-2.
3. The AC input three phases of the module are yellow, green, and red, and the phase sequence is distinguished by default (phase sequence
requirements can be set), and the N line is blue; The battery-side power cables are black (positive) and blue (negative), as shown in Figures
2-3~2-5.
4. When installing the input and DC output terminals in the rectifier frame, special designed screws must be used to ensure sufficient
tolerances for the tightening while tightening; screws and cables are provided. The fastening screws are shown in Figure 2-6.
5. CAN communication bus must use bus type connection method, and need to connect a matching resistor of 100~150 ohms at both
ends of the bus. The head end can be placed inside the monitor. The recommended resistance is 120 ohms. As shown in Figure 2-7.
6. The CAN communication terminal on the DC output cable is DC CANH and DC CANL; Particular attention should be paid when
wiring. As shown in Figure 2-5.
