LEDs:
TX – Transmit Data, On when data is transmitted from modem
RX – Receive Data, On when data is received from modem
RTS – Request to Send, On when RTS line is high (ON)
CTS – Clear to Send, On when CTS line is high (ON)
CD – Carrier Detect, On when a carrier is detected by modem
PWR – On when power is applied to modem

Pushbutton:
Normal – Normal operation of modem
Loopback – Analog loopback of VF channel (Transmit/Receive Pair Internally connected at RJ11)
LOOPBACK Test:
1. Connect modem serial connection to PC Com Port using a straight through modem cable.
2. Run HyperTerminal with the following parameters:
a. Baud Rate: 1200
b. Data Bits: 8
c. Parity: None
d. Stop Bits: 1
e. Flow Control: Hardware
3. Push in Loopback switch and type letters on keyboard to verify modem operation
