SUBJECT: General Guidelines on Safety Procedures

Praised be Jesus Christ!

To be able to ensure the safety of the learners and each member of SMIS entering the school premise and
the strict observance of the school rules on Dress Code, the following guidelines must be observed
religiously by every clients/visitors/employees/learners:

1. Vehicles that enter the school gate must have a valid Car Pass sticker placed on vehicles’ front shield
which may be obtained from the Registrar’s Office after filling out the Form and paying an amount of P150.

2. No Car Pass vehicles may only be allowed to enter after leaving the Driver’s License ID at the guard and
the purpose of entering had been recorded.

3. Private services that send and fetch the learner/s must have 2 copies of duly filled Authorization Cards.
One will be carried by the learner and the other must be brought to school by the driver or fetcher.

4. Commuter may be allowed only when a Letter of Request is sent to the adviser, copy furnished to the
guard and is duly signed by the parent or guardian of the learner

5. Students without valid license (not a student license) to drive on their own upon coming to school is not
permitted. The school has the right to report and hinder him from doing so.

6. Parents /guardian/driver who send a learner to school in an improper attire (not in compliance to the
Dress Code) may be allowed to enter but must stay only inside the vehicle. The school authority has the
right to call their attention.

7. Parents/Chaperones/Guardians must stay in the waiting area only. While waiting for the dismissal,
vehicles should be parked at the High School parking area and not along the National Road (in compliance
to the City Ordinance) nor in the Grade School quadrangle as it is designated as evacuation area in times of
emergency.
