What was the Luke 5,1-11. The apostles knew nothing about the great miracle that will
Gospel Reading happen to them. When Jesus told them “Do not be afraid, from now on
all about? you will catch people” they left their boats and followed Him. This is the
real manifestation that Jesus calls His disciples through His miracles.

Significant Insights In our daily lives, we can see that Jesus is calling us to become His
from the Homily/ disciples in our own ways. God will bless us with enough of wealth and
Sharing: health. The real message here is in the last few words: ‘they left
everything and followed him’. The fishermen left behind them their great
catch. Instead, they became His disciples because they hare captivated
by His holiness.

Write a short Almighty God, our heavenly Father, you have committed to your holy
prayer to God Church the care and nurture of your children. Enlighten with your wisdom
(Jesus): What to those who teach and those who learn, that rejoicing in the knowledge of
you want to say to your truth, they may worship you and serve you from generation to
Him or ask from generation; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
