(a)You have got a job for three months, which you are supposed to join after your
Board Examination. Write a letter to your elder sister telling her about this
job. Tell her why you want to join this job and how it is going to benefit

future. Give some details about the job.
b) There is a big area of land in your locality which is just lying waste. Write a
letter to the Editor of a newspaper stating how this waste land is creating
problems and suggest a way that it can be put to productive use.
Q3.Attempt both of the following.
(a)The Cultural Club of your school has decided to organise an "Inter-school
Greeting card making Competition' on the occasion of 'Holi'. Prepare a notice to
be put up on the notice board of your school asking the students to participate
it. (5)
(b) Write an email to the principal of the neighbouring school requesting
him/her to send four students from his/her school to participate in the above-
mentioned competition. (5)
