PAST SIMPLE OF VERB (TO BE )

Pasado simple del verbo “SER O ESTAR"

► El pasado simple del verbo "To be" (ser o estar) se forma
cambiando las formas "am" e "is" por "was" y la
forma "are" por "were".
Examples:
1.- Carmen was in Santa cruz last year. Carmen estuvo en santa cruz
el año pasado.
2.- they were in class this morning.Ellos estaban en clases esta mañana.
3.-Last year, Ricardo and Mari were in Beni. El año pasado Ricardo y mari
estaban en Beni.

4.-When I was 6 years old, I was in Primary School. Cuando yo tenia 6 años,
yo estaba en primaria de la escuela.

5.-Last month was my friend's birthday. El pasado mes era el cumpleaños

de mi amigo.
