3 GREEN MESSIAH
WHAT THIS BOOK IS ABOUT
GREEN MESSIAH is set in Sussex in 1630. In 1624 an alien spacecraft from
a dying planet crashed just outside the hamlet of Town Littleworth. Inside
the craft was an alien child that was adopted and raised by a local couple.

Alas, the child has turned out to be a wood elf monster that wants to take
over the Earth with strange plants and an army of shape-changing emo-

e
tionless drones.

Aside from the alien flora, characters will also encounter agents of the

fil
government investigating the extra-terrestrial threat, a bunch of religious
nuts who think the alien is the second coming of Christ, and some bandits
searching for their lost loot.

(There’s also a bit of treasure if your players are nihilistic sociopaths who
care nothing for the survival of humanity.)
e
Oh, and the supernova that destroyed the alien civilisation was visible
from Earth around 4 BCE, so technically, this is a Christmas adventure.
Happy Christmas!

ROBERT, VEGETAL VANQUISHER OF WORLDS,
THE GREEN MESSIAH
From a distance, Robert Clark looks like
a normal tweenager. Up close, it’s clear
he’s far from normal. Robert is about 4’
tall, and his skin has a greenish tinge.
He has pointed ears, black eyes with-
out iris or pupil, and his hair is more a
mossy substance that covers his head.

e
He has a mild, mulchy scent, like the
woods on a rainy day. Nice.

fil
As an alien raised by humans, Robert
is a bit odd. He understands human
behaviour, or at least the subset of it
specific to an inconspicuous hamlet in
Sussex, but has no particular affinity
with it and seems aloof and detached,
as if he is observing everything as part
of an experiment. He comes across as
e
apathetic and superior.

Well, except in one case. The love his

pl
adopted parents (page 6) show to Rob-
ert confuses him, almost as much as
his own affection towards them. He as-
sumes he has been conditioned in some
way, but even so, he can’t bring himself
to harm or replace the Clarks.
m

If you are some kind of pervert and

allow dirty, stinking elf characters in
your campaign, they will feel an inex-
plicable sense of kinship with Robert,
because he is more or less an elf, just an
Sa

Elf From Spaaaaaaaaaaace!!

What does he want?

Robert was engineered to conquer
worlds and restore the space-plant
empire, so that’s what he’s going to do.
Does he actually want to do it? That’s
one for the philosophers to sort out.

His argument, which he is prepared to

explain, is that he is a superior life form
— in fairness, he is — and so it is only
natural that he rules the planet.
