Dioneer Pro Technical Data Sheet Backing Compound Heavy Duty Product Description Pioneer Pro Backing Compound Epoxy (Heavy Duty) is a two part high solids epoxy ‘compound, fast setting, non-shrinking with high volumetric stability, high compressive and impact strength designed for backing of wear metals in gyratory, primary and large cone crushers, grinding mills, ball mills, rod mills, pulverizers and other machineries. It is a non-metallic compound, hence, easy, economical and safe to use. It needs no melting or special equipment. It is solvent- free, non-flammable and non-hazardous to health with negligible shrinkage and there- fore eliminates formulation of gaps between backing and line support structures in man- ganese steel liners, body of cone crushers, mantle and mills. It is designed to rebuild, repair and protect interfacing metal surfaces and high wear areas of processing equip- ments. It protects metal from bimetallic corrosion.
