It is common that government revise their fares of
different types of vehicles like auto rickshaw,
Taxi or radio cab etc from time to time based on various
factors such as inflation. The auto charges in a city
comprise of a fixed charge together with the charge on
the distance covered.

Situation 1- 
In city ‘A’ fixed charges for a journey are Rs 5. For a
journey of 10 kilometre the charge paid is ₹ 75
Situation 2- 
In city ‘B’ fixed charges for a journey are Rs 19. For a
journey of 8 kilometre the charge paid is rupees 91 and
for a journey of 14 km the charge paid is rupees 145.
