Updated list of main corrections/improvements on V13 Build E.

1. Protection: TYPE EDIT & LASERTYPE is now compatible with SOFT dongle. From this build, user
can replace physical dongle by soft one for Nodelock or Server installation

2. Import: Superposed points of curves are automatically deleted during the Import (SW-TE-21824)
3. Import symbols: this format is now available in the list of import

5. Export: Export a TYPEART under cloud of point format is possible with extension *.ASC (SW-TE-

6. Simplify 3D points during Mapping / Projection: same result as V12 (SW-TE-21773)

7. TYPEART, measure toolbar: the simulation of the tool is available (SW-TE-22159)

10. CAM: information on Sequence, Sequence TYPEART & Combo die is added (SW-TE-21061)
11. Sequence: for the first conical tool, 2.5D toolpath is generated now (SW-TE-22030)
12. Cutting, Inputs & Output tangential: possible collision is now managed according to parameters
(SW-TE-23065)
13. Manual bridge: all automatic bridges are saved into Manual bridge’s interface (SW-TE-22562)
14. Toolpath TYPEART: the computation time is now correct (SW-TE-22544)
15. Post pro script: new parameters to define the material (SW-TE-21999)

20. LASERTYPE: correction of the first coordinate point in MCL of FOBA post processor during the
projection of slices (SW-TE-22316)
21. LASERTYPE: the multi Z is now used to split output file according to the value in the interface
(Manual or in the Tool) for MACQQC.DLL (SW-TE-21637)

9. Correction of the new PDF import.
10. Correction of the bearer size of a Datamatrix in negative mode.
11. Deactivation of the Floating/Anchor/Mask menu while right-clicking on the Create toolpath
window.
12. Symbol library: the folder list control can be resized, and its controls is now correctly saved.
13. when a large number of fonts is available, the displays is correct now.
14. Point mode: correction of a crash while deleting several points within a contour.
15. Improvement of “Remove overlapping curves” of the FX tools.
16. Correction of the black lines on a TypeArt visualization with TypeView.
17. Color for CAM: now the toolpath for TYPEART or SEQUENCE TYPEART are available.
18. Tooldatabase: correction of the overall working of the index and tool correctors in both the
technology and (mainly) in the Turret page of the dialog.
19. Plotting: all modes of plotting are now available.
20. Toolpath report: the machining duration per toolpath is added (both the report by toolpath and
the final global report are updated accordingly).
21. Correction of the length of bridges for automatic and manual calculation (the diameter of the
tool is now considered).
22. The slice mark information is now written in the toolpath file of the TypeArt or 2.5D laser
toolpath after projecting the toolpath on the surface. The slice mark is written as well as the slice
number, Zmin and Zmax.
23. Correction of the display problem in all the laser toolpath menus.
24. Post-processor:

• Management of same consecutive tool from name or index

26. Surface Manipulations corrections:
- Surface naming process while importing STEP file,

The merging distance can be set to 0 insuring no modification of the curve(s).

28. Correction: Random Internal Conflict(s) in the TYPE ART rendering module: TYPE VIEW.

 48. Improvement: With Post-processors with MACQQC.DLL in LASER TYPE, it is now possible to slice
output results into several files when information “Insert slice mark” is checked in toolpath.
(Collate: None mode only)
49. Improvement: NC Simulation is now having its own thread. TE & LT can run independently.
50. Improvement: Aux1 parameter of the Post-processor (000_Aux1) is now by default, allowing
activation of pauses between the different toolpaths.
51. Improvement: NormalizeToopath property/option set to 0 by default for the Vinyl toolpath only.
52. Improvement: MACISON Post-processor, when the “SkipIntermediateZDrilling” parameter is
activated, the intermediate drilling instruction can be skipped.

manual modes, as it was in TE2009 Build E. To do that, add in the tpparam2.ini file of the CONFIG
directory the following parameter:

As a default if parameter not present or = 0, then the Cutting works as in TYPE EDIT V13.

6. New change of the zoom calculation for Build B : even when the Zoom on cursor position is

7. Simple and multi-snap : draws the icon representing the snap mode as close as possible of the
last snap point.
8. The snap on the center of an arc works now for circles and arcs in the middle of a polyline (open

9. Update of the kerning icon of the rapido, depending on the active kerning of the active text.
10. Italics are now automatically activated/deactivated when modifying the corresponding angle
