TYPHOON.

BEFORE A TYPHOON
Listen to weather updates and advisories.
Identify evacuation exit points, escape routes
and meeting points.
Prepare your go - bag must contain food,
water, flashlight, battery-operated radio, extra
batteries, candles, lighter or matches,
umbrella and a first aid kit.
Store adequate food supply and clean water.
Have food that not required cooking.
Prepare a list of emergency hotline numbers,
including contact details of authorities.

DURING A TYPHOON
Keep yourself update on the latest weather
news.
Stay at home or in a safe place. If you really
have to leave your home, avoid areas that are
prone to flooding or landslides. Watch out also
for flying objects debris.
Turn off your main switch to avoid getting an
electrical shock or short circuit.
If need, evacuate take the safest route and
follow the rules and regulations in your
designated evacuation center.
Keep all food and water containers covered and
sealed.

AFTER A TYPHOON
Call power utility companies if there are any
damaged transmission lines or posts.
Clean the entire home and al objects
affected by flood as chemicals and
sewage water may have contaminated
these. Wear appropriate gear(gloves &
masks).
Check power cables and outlets, make sure
they are not exposed before turning your
electrical main switch on.
Participate in clean-up activities.

Stay away from fallen trees, damaged


structures, and broken power lines.
