1. What are the qualities of a good financial manager in education? Which of them you
possess? Cite incidences?
2. Which qualities you do not possess yet?
3. What are you going to do to develop them?

Answers:
1. For me, the qualities of a good financial manager in education are the following: strategic
and analytical skills, adaptability, honesty, strong values, strong communication skills,
leadership skills, and the willingness to learn new things. I think the qualities that I
already possess are honesty and strong values and the willingness to learn. I can say that I
possess those qualities because it shows in my performance in school as the "School
Treasurer" chosen by our principal. My principal gave me some amount of money for our
expenses in school and that amount of money we used to buy things that we use in our
classroom. And all the things that we buy I'll surely write it down in my notebook, and
that list of purchases I'll send to my principal so that she will know where the money
goes. The willingness to learn I can also say that I possess this quality, since I'm new here
in the Department of Education, I have the eagerness to learn new things.
2. I think the qualities that I do not possess yet are analytical skills and leadership skills in
terms of managing finance.
3. I will ask my principal the things that I need to learn to develop my skills in terms of
analytical, I will also research how to improve my analytical skills. I could also take a
course or training. In terms of leadership skills, I will attend some webinars and training
that focus on developing the leadership skills of one person.
