Once upon a time there was a country named Galuh Pakuan which was hit by severe temptation.
Prolonged drought causes misery to the people. In a sad state, the wife of the duke who is pregnant wants
white deer meat. Duke Munding Willis went with the Dawuk Ruyung beloved horse.
When they hunt down the river towards the east Citandui came the Duke and his two bodyguards in a
village. In the village the duke cornered and robbed by Abulawang. All the belongings of the duke were

his wife felt sad. Meanwhile, Duke Munding Willis and his wife disguised as farmers and they left the
Duchy.
The baby, already arrived in Mount Mruyung. The baby grows into a young dashing and handsome man,
good nature in contrast to the adoptive parents robbers. young man named Jaka Mruyung. He left Mount
Mruyung because he was not happy with the attitude and behavior of his adoptive parents.
Jaka Mruyung arrived in the village named "Dayehluhur" and met an old man. He is Ki Meranggi, a
former soldier and powerful Majapahit Empire who became a dagger maker. Jaka Mruyung served at Ki
Meranggi’s home, he got a lot of experiences such as reading, writing, making a dagger and military
science. After, he mastered all of them, he continued the journey to the East and there he found Aji Tree
fern.
After taking far journey, he arrived at the border of the Duchy of Kutanegara. In this place he met a
young man. From him, he finally knew where Aji Ferns Forest.
Meanwhile, Duke Munding Willis and his wife who disguised as Ki Sandi arrived in the Dayehluhur
village. Incidentally both stopped at Ki Meranggi’s house. How excitedthey were who heard astory from
ki Maranggi. He told them that he trained a boy with Toh Visnhu in his left arm..
In the middle of the forest giant snake appeared, but was killed by Jaka Mruyung. But the Aji fern forest
was burnt. Jaka Mruyung was arrested and convicted. Ater some time, Jaka Mruyung was released.
Then, he joined the competition in the Duchy Kutanegara. The competition was to seek new Senopati.
Jaka Mruyung joined the contest, he won the contest with his power and became Senopat. After that, he
married to the daughter of the second Duke kutanegara, Princess Pandanayu.
Ki Sandi or Duke Munding Wilis heard the news and he realized that Jaka Muryung was his son. KI sandi
and her wife revealed their identity and met the Duke Kutanegara. How pleased the Duke of Kutanegara
that his son in law was son of the Great Duke Galuh Pakuan.
Jaka Mruyung appointed as duke of Kutanegara. But Jaka Mruyung was unhappy living in the duchy
Kutanegara. He wanted to move, then he remembered that he had visited Aji Fern Forest. Finally,
Kutanegara duchy's capital was moved to the Aji fern forest which is now called Ajibarang.
