My Vision in Life

Without a clear sense of your life's goal, which you get to pick and develop as you
go, it is challenging to arrive to your vision. The meaning you give to yourself, your
surroundings, your environment, your beliefs, your values, and the things you attach to them
determine the purpose of your life. Once you have identified your purpose, your vision is a
picture of how you plan to achieve it.

Since each person is uniquely made in the image of God and has a specific role in life,
they should all be treated with respect regardless of their mental, physical, or social position
or the decisions they make. I am a nursing student, and this concept plus my own beliefs are
what motivate me. Since I have a deep desire to help those in need, I believe this is what
finally inspired me to choose nursing as my career. My own nursing attitude is one that is
centered on compassion and service since that is when I feel most fulfilled.

The wonderful thing about having vision is that, once you have it, you will gradually
distance yourself from those who don't share it and align yourself with those who do and the
wonderful thing about having a purpose is that it will not only help and benefit you
personally, but it will also provide space for others to share in and profit from your mission
and vision.
