❖ What is my vision about (purpose)?
Reyna: As I grow older each day, I realize how important it is to develop and refine my personal
vision statement, which will serve as a guide to the course of my life as I make decisions and actions.
In other words, my personal vision statement is how I feel and think most of the time to achieve my
goals in life. My personal vision is to have a life that has meaning for myself and others. It is
important to me to live in a way that shows kindness, care, and concern for family and friends and
even strangers. Achieve self-respect based on a recognition of my accomplishments and abilities,
maintain a sense of appreciation for the beauty of nature, and a sense of humor. I want to have a life
that involves constant learning and improvement for myself, but that also creates an environment of
enjoyable learning and improvement for others. I like working with and around people, and it's
important to me that they like me; but it is more important to me that they should feel that I have
helped them in some way not that I have done a certain good deed, but rather that some kindness or
thoughtfulness or wisdom has touched them.

John Lord: Life for me is a treasure that we have on the earth and we need to enjoy, make memorable
things for us to know what the true value of life is. I always ask myself, what is my purpose and vision
as I grow and develop and there are many answers that will help me to know what truly my purpose is.
My vision now is to help myself achieve the goals that I set in my life and enjoy most of it because
life is too short to waste it on the unmemorable events or things. Help myself get a stable job and help
my parents give the life they deserve. My vision also is to develop my character because I always
believe that if a certain person has a good characteristic, his/her life is full of respect and you can do
good things without asking a return. In short, you will living in an ethical form of yourself which
helps you to become moral individual in our society. It is not just about how others are going to
respect you, it is also about how you respect yourself because we should know first our self for us to
be able know how to value others in a good way.

❖ What does my vision stand for (values)?

Reyna: My personal vision stands for my kindness and professional goals. I believe that kindness
should be an essential and universal quality to make the world a better place. There is no doubt that
kindness always wins and this has been proven time and again by people. It is important for all of us
to understand the value of kindness. I will always remember, being kind is priceless. It may be a small
compliment or it may be a grand gesture, no matter how big or small, kindness always counts.
Therefore, I will try to be kind to everyone around me. I also believe that everyone has goals. Some
are factual and some are speculative. Goals are something I like to keep personal, but some people like
to make it public. Everyone has different goals and things they want to accomplish. Goals are
something people look up to or use as a reason to do well. Goals are something to look at daily and
work towards daily Academic goals are at the top of my list of goals.

John Lord: My vision stands for my character development as an individual. I’m going to admit that
I don’t know myself fully as a person, there are things that I need to improve for me to achieve the
growth and best version of myself. For me to be able become good model for my siblings, friends,
family and relatives, I need to give my best and deal seriously on how a certain person develop their
physical, mental and emotional aspects that helps everyone to know the right value. Value for others
around you in society as well as value for your own life are important components of successful
personal growth. You can benefit from personal improvement in every aspect of your life. You will
develop emotionally and psychologically as a result, becoming a more lovable, sympathetic, courteous,
helpful, and optimistic person. I believe that if you achieve the character development, it will hekp
you achieve your goal in the right time and path.

❖ What actions do I take to manifest my visions and my values?

Reyna: By having clear vision goals and values, to know exactly what I want to achieve and how to
do it. I will be able to more accurately assess and measure my ability to accomplish goals and most
importantly, have a plan that can guide me on the path and keep me on the path. Add commitment
and determination to my goals and values, and I will find myself ready to take continuous and
consistent action toward the realization of my dreams, despite any obstacles in my path, including
difficult ones period. Having goals and staying committed to them will keep me focused on the things
I've determined are important to reaching my desired results. Often, I spend valuable time on issues
that have nothing to do with what we really want in my life. I get distracted by focusing on what
others are doing and achieving, and striving to do that. Having a vision and values will help me plan
what I want to achieve in life is necessary if I want to get to the right destination.

John Lord: The actions that I should take to manifest my vision and my value is to discipline myself
and become flexible. If I discipline myself well and avoid things that cause destruction to myself,
there is a big possibility that I can pursue the goals and vision that I have. People who are self-
disciplined will have guidelines to follow in order to conduct their life effectively and efficiently.
When I am disciplined in my life, I am able to make little sacrifices now for a better life later.
Discipline makes habits, which establish routines, which make you who and what you are every day.
Being adaptable will also enable me to successfully realize my vision and values. It will support my
ability to evaluate potential situations, adapt to them, and approach issues and tasks in fresh, original
ways. It will support me in changing my perspective, dedication, and way of living.
❖ What objectives am I going to set for myself, to start running my vision into reality?
Reyna: The objective that I’m going to set for myself, to start running my vision into reality are:
Improve my growth mindset, I believe that change is possible, I must have an open mind and
awareness to accept any mistakes I can make, the way I can apply daily affirmations to help me get
there, but ultimately, improving my growth mindset can have a positive influence on how I set goals
and achieve them in the future. Practice my gratitude, it could mean being grateful for finding a coin
on the sidewalk, waking up to my family every day or having a career. Success in this small goal will
allow me to find ways to change my attitude to being grateful and generous every day, which I can
have a positive impact on my overall well-being. This is the goal I set for myself, this is what I want
and see for myself in the coming weeks or months. I believe that with the goals I set, I can really get
to where I want to be in life. I know it won't be that easy to achieve; a lot of hard work and effort has
to be involved, as well as a lot of sacrifice. I'll have to drop some habits that will prevent me from
fulfilling my vision of myself, but if that is the price I have to pay for greatness, I'll gladly pay it in
full. I believe that if I fulfill my vision of myself I will make my society, and indeed the world in
general, a better place in my small way.

John Lord: My first objective is to get ready on the circumstances that I might face, and believe in
my self that I can surpass it without giving up. The reason why this is my first objective is because I
always tell myself that no matter what happen I will always fight forward and make things work to
achieve what I want in my life. Giving up is not in my vocabulary. My second object is to be able to
develop my character through learning in my mistakes. Experience is always a good teacher because
when you experience failure, it means that you are having a process to your skills and capabilities
because if a certain person doesn’t know what failure is, there is a big possibility that he/she will be
contented and doesn’t develop his/her skills. I want to learn on my mistakes so that I can’t make the
same mistakes again, I should look forward on improvement and continuous knowledge. The last
objective that I have is to work hard as I can and go out in my comfort zone. I believe that if I try new
thing that I’m not used to it, there is a learning and improvement that might help me to achieve my
visions turn into reality. I should take any opportunities if there is any so that I can challenge myself
become a dependent and strong minded individual.
