These are ve easy licks that sound really beautiful on the backing tracks mentioned
above. The reason that they match the chords so well is because they follow the chord
tones. Each chord is made out of three di erent notes and these three will allways sound
good because they are in the chord. There is no tension when you play them. The danger
of that is that it can be a bit dull when you focus too much on the chord tones. The other
notes have more tension when you play them and the use of tension/no tension is what
makes a solo really great and musical.
Lick 1 to 5 will only be using notes from the D minor pentatonic scale.
