The real estate or construction industry has been going through to an exciting time in its
development, expanding constantly but also encountering multiple challenges. And we know that some of these
difficulties are very recent, But It is the responsibility of project managers to maintain a site's safety, timeliness,
efficiency and budget. And we know this elements is very challenging at times. According to the study that 77%
of construction projects have severe delays and that 98% of projects come in over budget. And that leads to
problems or issues faced by construction or real state. One of example for this is the lack of foundation of an
organization because it’s tough to complete a tasks effectively without concrete objectives. because If they
don't have a clear plan on what they are trying to achieve, a construction project can easily run into a big
problems or fall behind schedule. And of course without clear goals, Furthermore, it can be challenging to hold
individuals responsible for their contribution to a project without concrete goals. That why performance
management is the solution for the project management. Because they all need to have specific tasks or to have
a distribution function for them to complete in order to accomplish this and keep everyone focused. And also
ensure the accountability by using predetermined procedures. By doing this, you can prevent the project as a
whole from collapsing beneath you.
And another example of challenges is the no proper communications. In any job, the
communication is a key skill. A significant portion of issues that arise during a building project are caused by
slow communication between various teams and departments. it becomes much more crucial when work is
divided among several people and some of workers is having a hard time to understand instructions. Without
efficient communication, important works or crucial activities may be overlooked and problems could go
unnoticed until it was too late to fix them. As a result, project managers must establish precise rules. There
should have a clear communications that give the workers or employees understanding on any achievements or
challenges that they may encounter every day. This is Problems can be proactively solved in this way. Using
various kinds of software could be a great alternative.

This could be one of the major challenges facing the building sector right now. And this problem also gets
worse for every year. Because as fewer and fewer young people are interested in working in the constructions
and of course we know some of them is lacking of a little experience they are new in construction industry so
that’s why is hard just to rely or get people instantly without any long experience and for the veterans as more
and more elderly workers are getting ready to retire. In the construction industry, reputation is extremely
important. And Working with people you know and trust is common. This is frequently beneficial because well-
functioning teams can be quite productive. However, if the team has a skills gap, it can result in some delays.
But to solve is it needs to have strategies with the most potential are construction staffing companies and
mentoring. Mentorship can benefit both novice students and recent graduates from college as well as current
skilled workers, bringing in additional potential employees. And the other possible solution to this is to be
aware of skills gaps, before they have an impact to the projects. One fined the gaps or holes in the project, you
can fill them up quickly and efficiently. it is important to have backup plans or contingency plans. Schedule
some flexibility, and invest in initiatives like safety training to prevent any potential problems.
