I. Read the following questions and choose the correct answer from the

given:

III. Answer the following questions:

2. Observe the given food pyramid and answer the questions that follow:

i) A computer engineer works on the computer the whole day and feels very
tired after work. His friend advised him to eat more food items from level A and
D to get more energy. Do you agree with the suggestion made by his friend?
Why/Why not? (1M)
ii) Ram met with a major accident and was hospitalised. His nutritionist
suggested him to include more amount of food items from level C in his diet.

3. Observe the given food web and answer the questions that follow:
i) Construct a food chain with four links using the food web given below. Name
the secondary and tertiary consumers. (1M)
ii) If all the eagles were killed, what would the impact on the number of rats and
the grasshoppers be? How will it affect our ecosystem? (1M)
