Usage to upgrade LFD`s Software through MDC UNIFIED
※ This setting can be adapted for only some models as below.

1. Run the MDC UNIFIED program and connect the devices which are necessary to be updated via RJ45(Ethernet).

2. Select only 1 device which is to be updated in All Device List and click Software Update icon in Tool tab.

3. Then, MDC UNIFIED will find all devices which have same firmware version name with selected one from All Device List.

4. Now, You can see the popup window with some devices.

5. Select what you want to update, and click Browse to find the correct file .

6. Click Start.

※ If you select a device more than 5, it is that 5 models are updated for the first time in advance.
And the other remaining devices will be successively updated with 5 at a time.

※ The preparation for correct file

a. Download the zip file from Display Solution Download Center at SLM.
b-1. For Main Firmware, unzip the file and choose the *.msd or *.bem format file at image folder.
(Tizen platform devices supports bem forma file only)
b-2. For Sub Micom 1, 2 or 3, choose the zip file to update the device.
(Almost main binary file supports sub micom update automatically)

※ The preparation for correct file when UDE-A/B/C series, OH85F and UH46F5.
a. Get the main binary file.
b. Unzip and get *.bin file. Then, change the file format to *.msd.
c. Make a folder named 'image', and move *.msd file into the folder.
d. Make a 'info.txt' file and open it to edit.
e. Write as 'A-AAAAAAA xxxx.x' (A-AAAAAAA should be same as software version name of device)
