Major Topics: Tokens in Python, Variables and Assignments, Statement Flow Control
Learning Objectives:
To make the students to revise the major concepts of Python taught in class XI and make them understand
through logical questions.
Pre-Requisite Knowledge:
Students will be shown a simple program to recall the concepts of Python inculcated in the given example.
Pre-Lesson activity:
* Students will be shown examples of tokens in Python and ask them to identify the type of data.
* They will be given a simple program in Python and will be asked to label the barebones of a Python
program such as comments, blocks, statements, indentation, function call, function and expressions.
Introduction:
Students will be introduced to the Python programming language basics such as its developer, year and the
journey of Python that has been taught in the previous class XI. They will also be a complete revision of the
concepts taught in Python such as tokens, variables, data types, expressions, if conditions, looping .
Content Explanation:
The various concepts of Python are explained through simple exercise and examples related to the main
topics in the chapter such as Variables, mutable and immutable data types, looping statements. They are
also explained with the application based questions related to the concepts taught.
