Course Learning Outcomes: After completing the course students will be able to:
• Analyze the cardiopulmonary disorder by taking detailed history and identifying the vital clinical signs & symptoms of an cardiopulmonary
patient
• Define and describe various cardiopulmonary disorders
• Distinguish between various presentations of many conditions of the cardiopulmonary system
• Recognize the probable diagnosis for cardiopulmonary system.
• Write the medical & surgical management of the specific condition.
• Plan & Apply basic cardiothoracic PT techniques.
• Interpret the cardiopulmonary disorder by taking detailed history and identifying and monitoring the vital clinical signs & symptoms of an
orthopedic patient.
• Define and describe various cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Distinguish between various presentations of many conditions of the cardiopulmonary system. Evaluation of the cardiopulmonary patient.
• Perform assessment & recognize the probable diagnosis for cardiopulmonary system..
• Write the medical & surgical management of the specific condition.
• Demonstrate & Apply basic cardiothoracic PT techniques

Pedagogy for Course Delivery:

The course to be covered using lecture, tutorial and practical based method. In addition to assigning the presentations on case studies, the course
instructor will spend considerable time in understanding the concept of patient assessment history taking & examination. The instructor will cover the
ways to differentially diagnose using clinical, diagnostic & examination techniques. Hospital and department based learning to be emphasized.
