Course Objectives: Course objectives are to provide students with theory and hands-on laboratory experience, including simple and more complex
experiments and computerized data acquisition. Strong emphasis is placed on problem solving, professional judgment, and the importance of accuracy, error,
and uncertainty analysis.

Pre-requisites: Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, Heat and Mass Transfer and Fluid Mechanics

Student Learning Outcomes:

On completion of the course, the student will be able to:

 Recall and repeat the fundamentals concepts of Experimental Methods for Engineers
 Identify problems relevant to Experimental methods and discuss among peers.
 Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental concepts of Experimental Methods for solving partial differential equations involved in engineering system.
 Categorize and solve problems analytically.
 Evaluate understanding of the subject based on conceptual knowledge and lab performance.

The course pedagogy will include lectures, practice, case studies, seminars and presentations. It also includes discussion on real life problems.
