    Character 1: Teenager’s dad.


    Character 2: Female teenager.

    Setting: Saturday Morning, Home office, Present day.

    1. (Daughter beguilingly walks in & sits at desk next to her dad who’s scrolling through
    emails) Hist1, so do thee2 know John?
    2. (Jokingly replies) Ay 3, of course I know John the baptist.
    3. (Sarcastically remarks) Ay 4, John Deere. He wanted to give you a free riding lawn
    mower.
    4. Nay5, It’s John (random last name) who used to live next door.
    5. Oh, the one who’s drenched me with water and then was heavy6 when I shot him with
    nerf guns?
    6. Yea7, and we were like 7.
    7. I’m marking8.
    8. So, he asked me out yesterday morn9,
    9. And, what did thou10 say?
    10. Merrily11 I quoth12 that I would bid you about it, then we both went’st13 on our separate
    ways.
