was the mall, and even though I am now an adult, I can't help but
indulge my inner child. Especially when we're at my favorite mall,
the SM Mall of Asia, commonly known as SM MOA; we were so
pleased to learn that a mall had opened near us before it even
opened, and it eventually became one of the most popular malls in
the Philippines because it is the country's largest mall. It also ranks
among the top ten largest malls in the world. It's not your typical
mall; rather, it's a tourist destination with a variety of shopping,
leisure, and entertainment options. The mall is a sprawling
complex located right by the scenic Manila Bay, showcasing top-
tier facilities and a great mix of local and global brands. You could
easily spend a day or two here shopping or relaxing by the bay in
the evening It goes without saying that the sunsets here are
spectacular, and on weekends, there is a brief fireworks display.
The SM Mall of Asia also has a convention center, a large concert
venue, and an indoor arena with seating for up to 20,000 people.
It’s popular with both locals and tourists, and it can get crowded on
weekends and holidays, so go during the week if possible. So as
you arrived in the sm mall of Asia you will be welcomed by a big
bronze globe.

It is the SM MOA famous landmark called the globe, it
symbolizes our planet and you can also see the different
contents of the world from it. During the night the globe can
display a different virtual presentation or it can act as a digital
billboard for different businesses, holidays, and even
greetings. A lot of locals have used these to convey a message
and one of the most popular will be when a guy used this to
propose. What an expensive and extravagant way to make
your loved one feel special than to display it on a giant globe
right! After passing to the globe you have now arrived at our
main destination. The mall is made up of four buildings linked
by walkways: The Main Mall, the Entertainment Mall, and the
north and south car park buildings. The Main Mall contains
shops and stores, a food court and various dining
establishments, and Concierge Desks. The Entertainment
Mall, which faces Manila Bay, is a two-story complex with
the majority of its space open to the elements; Concierge
Desks can also be found here. The SM Department Store is
located in the South Parking Building, while the SM
Hypermarket is located in the North Parking Building. One of
the things that I really like about SM MOA is how diverse
their food restaurants are so, the tourist has a lot of options to
choose from. It became one of the places where you can find
shopaholics, foodies, photographers, and different types of
people. With over 700 stores to select from, the SM Mall of
Asia is definitely a shopper's paradise. Aside from that, there
are a variety of thrilling activities available, such as bowling,
archery, and skating. Ice skating at the Olympic-sized ice
skating rink housed within the mall is one of the exciting
things to do here. They do, however, have a minimum
capacity because of the epidemic. The rink is big enough to
accommodate a large number of people.
If you grow weary of shopping, you may head to SM Mall of Asia Seaside to watch the sunset,
ride the Philippines' largest Ferris wheel, or take a bay cruise. Small rides for children and
teenagers may be found all around the Bay Area. There are a variety of meal alternatives
available, and the costs are reasonable. Despite the presence of security, the people in the region
are varied. At night, be cautious. In SM Mall of Asia Seaside, the best area for family outings,
meet-ups with friends, or sunset dates for couples is to view the spectacular sunset. You may also
enjoy al fresco eating, a food market, and live music during the holidays, such as Christmas.
Do you like going to a concert? SM Mall of Asia Grounds has held a lot of memorable concerts
by different artists around the world. The most memorable concerts are; the first Cold Play
Concert in Manila, The Eraserheads final set, Ed Sheeran Divide Asia Tour, One Direction Road
Again Tour, and Paramore. During the pandemic, a lot of cinema has been closed. So, the SM
MOA launched its drive-up cinema. It has been a success because of the pandemic a lot of people
have missed watching movies on a big screen and also, it has brought a lot of memories of the
good old days of drive-in cinema.
I'm still amazed that SM Mall of Asia has its own arena, the SM MOA Arena, popularly known
as the MOA Arena, which is an indoor arena. During a basketball competition, it can hold 15,093
people or 10,311 on the proscenium. It also has a 16,000-seat capacity for athletic events and a
20,000-seat capacity for a full house. It is also where lady gaga held her first concert with 2-night
sold-out concert for her Born This Way Tour.
SM Mall of Asia, which lives up to its tagline of "No other Mall Comes Close," not only
fourth largest mall. Despite the fact that it appears like SM MOA has it all, there are still lots of
fascinating things on their minds to develop for us to explore.
