1. Introduction
As per IT Compliance, all systems should be updated with latest security patches and OS version

To upgrade OS build version

4. Pre-requisites
 Minimum 50 Mbps Broadband Internet connection
 Laptop must be charged and connected to power source
 Data backup has to be done by the user on One-Drive before the upgrade

Note- Please do not upgrade if your device has any McAfee product. In
such case pls raise IT ticket for the upgrade.

Steps to check the OS version on your machine

Step 1- Please click on search and type Winver

Step 2- Click on open.

Step 3- You will see the version of Windows. You need to upgrade if your current version is not 20H2 as
shown below. Please ignore if the system is on 20H2 version

5. Operational Procedure- (Step by step process for performing the upgrade)

Step 1- Please click on search and type update

Step 2- Click on open.

Step 3- Click on check for update

Step 4- You will see feature update for Windows, click on download and install. Please log an IT
ticket in case you are unable to see or download the update

Step 5- It will start the download and then install the update

Note : pls do not switch off the machine during upgrade process. It needs to be done
uninterrupted.

Step 6- Please reboot the Machine to complete the update

Note- Please raise an IT ticket in case you are facing any issue in upgrading the Windows version
