Amazon Web Services (AWS) offered by Amazon is for individuals as well as companies on a pay
as you go basis. AWS has become synonymous with public cloud providers allowing services to be used
globally. They offer services such as infrastructure, platform, and software but also have main products;
EC2, Glacier, and S3. (Pedamkar, 2021)

Microsoft Azure is the closest competitor to Amazon Web Services. Azure has the same variety
of services AWS has but allows different ways to use the services. The data centers are run by Microsoft,
helping to create user friendly applications being the only platform allowing to be learnt without
programming language. Along with all their applications they also offer services ranging from analytics,
networking, to virtual computing. (Pedamkar, 2021)

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a smaller based platform but provides the same services the
other two platforms provide along with built-in data centers and analytics. This is the most cost-effective
platform allowing the user to be able to manage their costs the easiest. GCP is the only platform to
integrate Linux operating systems allowing the involvement of scripts. The only negative to GCP is they
do not allow any SQL or Microsoft based units in the services, now allowing GCP to grow larger than
other platforms. (Pedamkar, 2021)
