A report on the relationship between fashion and teenagers in my country

The purpose of this report is to outline the most trending and popular items of clothing
nowadays, especially the greatest style for we - teenagers and furthermore, the influence of
fashion on teenagers' daily life, their relationships and even the way they are perceived by people
around them. Needless to mention, there will certainly be shortcomings that the teen fashion
industry needs to overcome in the near future, and there are also bright spots that it needs to
continue to develop and breakthrough in the future. In either case, I will give my opinion as well
as the most effective measures for imperfections, as well as a way to help the strengths become
even more breakthrough.

As far as we can all observe, fashion styles inspired by Koreans and Americans are being loved
and responded to around the world. Most of the teenage girls I've met in real life and seen on
social media wear crop-tops, high-waisted pants, and a few have their bangs dyed platinum -
inspired by BLACKPINK's Jennie. It will be easy to see that knitted sweaters, a mini skirt and a
matching boot will be coordinated by Asian teenage girls - even in my country, VietNam, when
they are going out for a walk, and for those who are in love with glamorous and daring styles,
they will definitely choose a crop-top with a split back or dark tight dresses that help them flaunt
their body curves - a trend promoting by the global IT girl, Kylie Jenner from the Kardashians.
We used to think that boys are generally less concerned with their appearance, however,
according to the opposite changes and based on a year- end report of 2021 by The State Of
Fashion, it is found that the consumption of fashion products by them is approximately equal to
that of women: 49.5%, which is not surprising since there are many teenage boys who are
followers of high-end fashion footwear brands such as Adidas, Jordan and Nike. Furthermore,
the boys even have their own style of dressing: some people prefer a liberal style with trendy
hoodies, some are loyal to shirts that look dreamy and smart at the same time, but never out of
fashion. To sum up, teenage fashion nowadays has great changes compared to 10 years ago - it is
more practical and shows clearer the personality of the wearer.

The fashion industry has long shown a positive and irreplaceable influence on teenage age
groups. First to mention, fashion helps we - teenagers to be confident and to create a well-
groomed appearance. Different colors, textures, designs, and different fabrics will give the
wearer the perfect choice with the most impressive look. "Beauty for silk" is also for that reason.
Whether you want to be a glamorous, classy lady or a charming guy, fashion is the way for you
to bring out the most impressive look. That is the reason why each costume design is always
"favored" to bring out costume designs to become a "partner" to help teenagers gain more
confidence as well as shine the most with their appearances. For instances, quiet people will tend
to choose clothes with deep, warm, nude tones, meanwhile vivacious and agile people will be the
complete opposite. Gianni Versace once said: “Don’t be into trends. Don’t make fashion own
you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to
live.”, and he is right. One of the reasons why fashion becomes an inevitable part of young
people’s life is because it is the first choice for us to express our own language. Just like people,
each design, each accessory or every piece of fashion has its own personality, story and meaning.
Therefore, to speak for themselves, many people choose fashion as a way to express their
personality and who they are. And to be able to highlight our strengths and limit your
weaknesses, we mustn’t forget to mention the role of fashion: if you perceive your strengths and
weaknesses as well as understand fashion, you will definitely shine in your own way. Last but
not least, fashion is a simple and elegant way to show your respect and impress people you’ll
meet. The connection between people is now happening faster than ever, careful preparation in
every detail will help teenagers make a good impression on people they meet. Many points of
view point out that teens "wear beautiful clothes" are not for anyone but for themselves. When
you create for yourself the best way to express yourself, it shows "you love yourself and respect
yourself", this is a really smart way to create your respect for the people you meet and to show
that you respect yourself. In conclusion, the fashion industry has always played an important role
in the daily lives of young people and it will continue to thrive in many novel ways in the future.

As we can see, the fashion industry has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since there
has been a shift in consumer buying psychology, we have witnessed a serious change in people's
shopping habits. They focus on essential items more instead of flashy, luxurious items for the
purpose of "showing off" as before. In fact, the world's second largest fashion retailer, H&M,
plans to close 250 of its 5,000 stores globally. So what are the improvements that we need to do
to “save” the current situation? My suggestion is chatbots - one of the simple and easy ways to
provide customers with a more personalized shopping experience that not only increases
customer satisfaction but also helps promote effective sales for the brand. In fact, some brands
are already offering virtual stores to recreate the in-store retail shopping experience for
customers. The first name to mention is Dior. The luxury fashion house has launched a virtual
store with a 360-degree view, where customers can walk around and view all the items in the
store as if they were shopping at a regular retail store. 

All in all, the fashion industry has always been and always will be an important place in the lives
of teenagers, and the new things of fashion will always be changed year by year, never once old
and boring. , has always been an important part of helping us become more confident and
radiant. Although there are difficulties and shortcomings, however, with passionate and talented
people who are always ready to make sacrifices for their passion for fashion, I believe that this
industry will continue to thrive even shiner and stronger in the future.
