Strenght (Kgf)
Temperature resistance
The polyamides used for manufacturing cable ties are sensitive to high or low temperatures.
Exposure to very high or low temperatures can break the molecular chain, causing low
mechanical strength, fragility and sensitivity to vibration.
The maximum temperature recommended for the installation of Polyamide 6.6 cable tie is 60
°C, however the maximum temperature of continuous use is 85 ºC.
The minimum temperature for the use of polyamide 6.6 cable ties is -40 °C. However, when Minimum Strenght
they are applied, it is recommended that the temperature is above -10 °C.
When the cable ties are used in high temperature regime, it is recommended the use of cable
ties produced with heat-stabilized polyamide 6.6 (PA 6.6 HS) or produced from polyamide
4.6.
Sample
Flammability The chart above represents the traction resistance test performed on 10 samples of the cable tie
The most popular standard for assessing the behavior of polymers against the flame is the F7040.The minimum break voltage expected is 54.4 kgf and the result showed values close to 80

Classification begins with the HB class, lower level, which identifies the material as low
burning rate.V2, V1 and V0 classes identify materials as self-extinguishing.

Cable ties
Adhesive Fasteners
These fasteners, when used with conventional cable ties, allow the cables, hoses and other
components lashing without the need for drilling. Adhesives are of excellent quality and can
be used indoors and outdoors.
Accessories
Before the application of the fastener, it is recommended to clean the surface with isopropyl
alcohol so that it will stay clean, dry and uniform. When the surface is very smooth you may
need to make a small abrasion.
When using adhesive fasteners EA and EAA, you may need the primer from 3M reference
8215 P to improve the adherence in surfaces with epoxy paint. The PL adhesive fasteners do
not require primer.

Wire markers are ideal for identifying wires and cables. The angled cut enables the
maintenance of the set alignment and its design enables a single marker model to be used
in various gauges of wires or cables.
