BILATERAL FROGLEG AND

AP VIEW OF PELVIS

INTRODUCTION
The Bilateral “Frogleg” modified Cleaves method and
Plain AP view of the Pelvis are radiographic
procedures that are mainly used to evaluate a non-
trauma hip.
PATIENT PROFILE
The 92-year-old patient was hospitalized due to pain in the inguinal
area that has lasted for at least 2 months. The patient was bedridden
and could not move their legs without feeling pain.

The patient’s companion explained that the patient had a previous x-


ray from another hospital from last year due to the same sensation of
pain on their hips occasionally. Findings were said to be unremarkable.

DIAGNOSIS
There was no gross evidence of fracture or dislocation
seen in the views obtained.

Sacroiliac and acetabulofemoral joint spaces are


remarkable. Note of calcified vessels.
