INTRODUCTION
Angioplasty is a minimally invasive procedure used to
open blocked coronary arteries. It restores blood flow
to the heart muscle without open-heart surgery by
dilating the constricted vessel with a wire mesh tube
called a stent in order to improve blood flow to the
heart.
PATIENT PROFILE
The patient has a record of hypertension. Patient was
had difficulty breathing when they arrived at the hospital.

The patient was then taken for a chest x-ray for


angioplasty clearance. Patient’s results were
unremarkable.

Coronary Artery Disease - 2 Vessel Disease
DIAGNOSIS
Left Anterior Descending Artery (LAD):
Vessel is good sized, type III vessel w/ 70% lesion after ostium.
Another 70% lesion right after the 1st magus septal branch.
There is another 80% lesion in midsegment.

Left Circumflex Artery (LCX):


Vessel is good sized, conduit vessel w/ luminal irregularities in the proximal segment.

Right Coronary Artery (RCA):


Vessel is good sized vessel with long 71% lesion for proximal to midsegment
