At the end of the discussion, the students are expected to:

b. value the importance of verb
c. Draw an example of verb
- Verbs are words that show actions, motions, doing, or states of being. They
can also demonstrate how someone feels. Verbs are an absolutely necessary
part of sentences. A sentence cannot work without an action verb.
- An action verb is a word that show what someone or something is doing.
Examples: Mary sleeps on the couch. Jason's best friend thinks of a plan. Ken
and his mother cook dinner.

- The teacher will let the students generalize the lesson. The teacher will also
ask from the students of any clarifications or questions about the lesson.
