NATIONAL SCOPE

According to my research that the modern technology has a lot of help to the business world and it gives
much information and helps to secure the confidentiality of information of each company. However, the
advantage of using modern technology to the Philippines is very much in need, not only to those
companies that are associated with the latest technologies but also to those small businesses that need
also this modern technology. This kind of modern technology needs in the operation of the business to
flow regularly and delivery the product or item at the exact time. Modern technology is important to the
business operation no matter how big or small business you have. The technology we have right now
has tangible and intangible benefits that can make money and helps the company to be known and
helps the customers demand.

According to Wikipedia that Politics is dominated by a powerful elite, with dynastic politics common at
both the local and national levels. Political parties are weak, with elections instead dominated by
individual and familial personalities. Political positions provide extensive opportunities for patronage,
and clientelism and electoral fraud are common. Corruption is considered widespread, while state
institutions are relatively weak. Politics has been heavily influenced at times by the Catholic Church, the
Philippine military, and the United States. Despite pessimism about the potential for political change,
democracy maintains strong public support, and voter turnout is high.

INTERNATIONAL SCOPE

According to Wang, Jisi (2010) As an active participants and beneficiary of economic globalization, China
has gone through a process in which it re-recognizes and gradually adapts to the existing international
political and economic order. After joining the WTO, China has been playing a positive role in almost all
of the important global regimes and fulfilling corresponding duties. At the same time, the attention and
expectation from global community increases, demanding China to take greater international
obligations.

After re-recognizing and adapting to the existing international political and economic rules, China will
play a more active role, namely upholding the sound rules and order under the current system, reform
the unsound ones, and advocate and participate in the formulation of new rules and orders. For
example, as one of the biggest emitter of GHG, China need to come forward with specific energy-saving
and emission cutting plan to participate in the formulation of new international framework before the
Kyoto Protocol expires in 2012; as a big consumer and producer of energy, China should have a bigger
voice in world energy price; as a country with strong nuclear capability and with rapidly developing
space technology, China should play a more important role in international regimes such as nuclear non-
proliferation, arm control and the peaceful use of outer space; as a big trader, after the failure of Doha
Round, China need to coordinate with relevant countries to look for a new solution.
By actively participating in the formulation of global rules and reforming the current global order, China
can further consolidate its claimed concept of Ātaking peaceful development pathā and Āco-building a
harmonious world.

Simply put, in the complexity of world politics, China will play four roles: sticking to the path of
sustainable development; promoting integration between the various civilizations; securing the smooth
transition of the international structure; and advocating for sound international rules and order.

Currently, the future development path and international strategy of China is under heated debates
both inside and outside the country. What I have said here only represent my own view. I firmly believe
what cost China needs to take as international obligations and China’s diplomatic strategy are first and
foremost based on China’s reality, which is a concern of sovereignty, security and development. At the
same time, we need to take into consideration the global trends and expectations from the world. It is
the Chinese scholars’ obligation to recommend policy options and respond to global opinions, on the
basis of intensive studies of both domestic and global situations and their interaction.

According to Wikipedia that Science and technology in China have developed rapidly during the 1980s to
2010s, and major scientific and technological achievements have been made since the 1980s.[1][2] From
the 1980s to the 1990s, the Chinese government successively launched the "863 Plan" and the "Strategy
for Rejuvenating the Country through Science and Education", which greatly promoted the development
and progress of China's science and technology.[1][3] The Chinese government has placed emphasis
through funding, reform, and societal status on science and technology as a fundamental part of the
socio-economic development of the country as well as for national prestige. China has made rapid
advances in areas such as education, infrastructure, high-tech manufacturing, academic publishing,
patents, and commercial applications and is now in some areas and by some measures a world leader.
China is now increasingly targeting indigenous innovation and aims to reform remaining weaknesses.
