Issues about nuclear power are frequently discussed these days. Some people believe that atomic energy
plays a vital role in term of energy resources, others are opponent that nuclear power has a bad effect on the
human’s life. Both side of view will be discussed in the following paragraph.

From one point of view, there are plenty of reasons why atomic energy 1 becomes a preferred power in
finding new energy2 resources. The most important reason is that atomic energy 3 is a reliable and clean
energy4. To explain, the energy5 is generated by the power plants which can create the energy 6 all day,
compared to the other sources, such as wind and solar power have to depend on the weather conditions to
produce electricity. Moreover, nuclear power is one of the most low-carbon energy 7 sources which is
extremely essential to reduce climate change and greenhouse gas emissions.

On the other hand, there are several negative effects related to nuclear power. The main reason includes its
environmental impact, the processing of producing atomic energy is extremely water-intensive. Furthermore,
there is also a risk of nuclear accidents. Although the production of nuclear power is strictly protected, one
accident can quickly turn the environment into an unforeseen disaster. For instance, the Chernobyl explosion
is considered the worst nuclear disaster in history both in cost and casualties.

All thing considered, my opinion is that in spite of the various benefits of nuclear power for industrial fields,
the dangers of an accident, as well as poisonous gases, are too dangerous for the environment. Therefore,
governments should provide more in-depth information and carefully balance the disadvantages of the
current generation with the future generation.
