PRICING ADVICE

A lot of people ask me about how to price their videos on a

daily basis.
Here is my best advice on how to price your work whether
you’re just starting out or you’re wondering when to take your
price point up to the next level:

0-$50 $500 $1000+

• I recommend you shoot your first 1-2 videos for free,

you need to learn the ropes before you start to invest
and then ultimately raise your price

• There’s 2 factors for raising your price

o Your experience and skill level

o Money you invest into your gear
PRICING ADVICE CONT.

• AFTER you have done 3 videos, your price should be at

least $50 per music video

o Even starting out cameras are expensive, so aim to

start making some side money and working towards
your next upgrade

▪ I recommend investing in a new lens first

(preferably 1.8f 50mm or below lens)

• Keep shooting videos, working your price up from $50 to

$150 per video!

o Keep in mind the more you shoot and learn the more
your value goes up, the more your value goes up the
more you can charge

o Watching and learn as many tutorials as you can! This

will raise your value and you’ll be able to increase your
price

o Keep working and shooting videos and you’ll be able to

charge around $250-$500, its up to you to judge how
much your work is worth! Don’t undervalue yourself…
work with a client’s budget but keep in mind that your
time is valuable. If you’re getting regularly hit up to work
you should be charging at least $300 per video

• Keep repeating these steps, learning more, gaining more

experience, and investing the money you earn into improving
you’re craft, and you’ll be able to make $1000+ per video in
no time ☺

BE CREATIVE, STRIVE TO BE UNIQUE, STAY TRUE TO

YOURSELF and you’ll take over the game in no time!
