Kevin: Hi Fernando. How do you feel today?

Fernando: Hi, I’m fine thank you.

Kevin: This week, I have been thinking about how transport has changed since 100 years ago.
It's The technology has been important in the development of transport. Do you agree with me?

Fernando: Yes, I agree! You know that the technology has improved very quickly in the last
years. Owing a car is more common than 10 years ago, and this is positive for everyone.

Kevin: Yes, exactly. The development of transport has made it easier for people to move from
one place to another. The main feature has been the speed of cars. What do you think?

Fernando: Well, from what I’ve read, the main focus on this era is to take care of the planet.
You know that the cars pollute the environment a lot, that’s the reason why they must learn
more about how to save energy and fuel.

Kevin: Actually, I have heard that automation as a factor of development. For example, in some
countries there are already driverless cars. Do you have any other ideas about automation?

Fernando: Of course. I read that Google are working in an autonomous car. It’s incredible, this
can be the starts of an amazing future.

Kevin: Yes, I have in mind a car without tires, controlled by our smartphone and using
electricity to charge it. With this kind of car anyone can move around the city because he won't
need a driving license.

Fernando: Anyway, I don’t think that I’ll use these cars, because although there is a lot of
research and testing, I think I can’t feel save in a car that isn’t driven by me. What do you think?

Kevin: I think we will have the option to drive it ourselves or leave it in automatic mode.
However, there may be a glitch in the system that could lead to accidents to the network
saturation.

Fernando: Yes, this is a disadvantage of the IoT. The security must improve, the hackers are
always searching new vulnerabilities.

Kevin: I agree with the technological development as we will be able to reduce pollution and
have a more sustainable world and it will be used easier to get around the city.
