Situation 1: Your friends want to choose a new language to study next

semester. There are three choices: French, Chinese and English. Which
one is the best choice?

My friend wants to choose a new language to study next semester. She has 3
choices: French, Chinese and English. I think English is the best choice for her.
Learning English to improve communication is essential for her because it is very
useful for the future. I recommend her to learn English for the following reasons.
Firstly, English is a popular language all over the world, learning an international
language like this obviously help us to have chance to approach to the new open
world. We can meet more people from many different countries, and we can also
learn a lot from them. Secondly, learning English well boosts your employment
potential because English is the compulsory requirement to evaluate the job
seekers.Besides, English is a method for us to earn more knowledge. By watching
movies from other countries which are in English, we can partially learn about
their cultures. I don't think learning French and Chinese are the best options for her
because they are very difficult languages. Both French and Chinese have very
complex grammars, especially Chinese which has a very confusing hieroglyphic
system. In addition, these two languages are not really popular yet, so they may be
used a lot in the future.

Situation 2: A group of students is planning an adventure trip this

summer. There are three choices: Amazon rainforest, Sahara desert and
South Africa. Which do you think is the best destination for teenagers?

BL:
If you want to start an adventure travel this summer you can consider three
places: the Amazon rainforest, the Sahara and South Africa.
First, the Amazon rainforest is not a bad choice. If you come here, you will see
many different species of creatures, some of which you have never seen before.
that's interesting. The weather here will also be quite cool and pleasant. However,

there is also a lot of danger here. such as poisonous animals that can harm you. so
be careful.
Besides, South Africa is also an ideal place. This is an area with a lot of wild
animals such as elephants, monkeys, penguins, jaguars. it would be great to do a
wild nature adventure. but you will always have to be wary of mosquitoes, it will
easily make you sick.
In addition, I'm not sure the Sahara would be a good choice. hmmm, the
weather here is very hot, our body will have a hard time adapting to it. and it'll be
dangerous if we come here with a sandstorm.
in my opinion south africa is the best option, we won't have to worry about
strange animals that can hurt us like in the amazon rainforest. The weather here
also seems to be more pleasant than in the Sahara. I think so

Situation 3: A group of students is discussing where to celebrate the end

of exams. Three locations are suggested: in the classroom, at a party
club, in a restaurant. Which would be the best choice?

A group of my students are discussing where to celebrate the end of exams. But
they haven't chosen the most suitable place yet . I have a some suggestions for
them. They can take a party in one of three places: in a restaurant, in a party club,
and in a classroom. I think the classroom is the best choice to hold the ceremony.
Firstly, It's great to celebrate together in your own classroom. This is the most
familiar place for them. Together they will prepare everything for the party. The
classroom will be beautifully decorated. The surrounding is covered with plenty of
colorful balloons and flashing lights. Second, organizing a party in class will help
students save money because they can choose their favorite dishes at a cheap price
that they can make at home and bring to class.Finally, students can unleash their
creativity with team games in the party. And more importantly, you can have fun
without worrying about disturbing others. I am sure the party was full of
rejoicement and pleasure with laughters all the time. I don't think partying at a
party club or a restaurant is a good option for them because it's quite expensive and
uncomfortable because there are so many people.

Situation 4: A group of students is discussing what Vietnamese icons
should they introduce to the foreigners when they come to Hanoi. There
are three choices: Lotus, Uncle Ho and Temple of Literature. Which one
would you choose?

BL:
When a foreign friend comes to Hanoi, we should introduce them to
Vietnamese symbols such as: Lotus, Uncle Ho and Temple of Literature.
about lotus. This flower is very special, although it lives in a muddy place, it
still retains a delicate fragrance. The lotus flower symbolizes the bright and pure
beauty of the Vietnamese nation. However, it is difficult to find lotus flowers in
Hanoi if the season is not right
Besides, Uncle Ho, a person of great merit to Vietnam. Uncle is very famous
not only in the country but also in countries around the world. so I wouldn't be
surprised if that foreign friend knew Uncle.
In my opinion we can introduce the Temple of Literature. This is an attractive
place for foreigners, especially in architecture and ancient relics. I look forward to
bringing foreigners here to visit. I think so

Situation 5: Your friends want to choose a future job. There are some
choices: a flight attendant, a politician and a businesswoman. Which do
you think is the best choice?

My friend wants to choose a job in the future. She wanted me to give her some
advice. She has three suggestions: a flight attendant, a politician, and a
businesswoman.
Firstly , with the flight attendant. This is the favorite job of many people.
However, The first condition to become a flight attendant is that you must meet the
standards of height, weight, and health. In addition, to become a flight attendant
you have to be under a lot of pressure. Not much rest time easily leads to stress and
fatigue. I think this job is not suitable for her.
Secondly, a politician is a person active in party politics, or a person holding or
seeking an elected office in government. This job requires a lot of care and is often
limited in working time. I think she won't like this job.

 It can be said that the future of becoming a businesswoman is the most suitable
job for her. From a young age she was very good at math and very intelligent. She
also has a lot of interesting startup ideas. My friend is a strong, intelligent, creative
person. She can become a successful businessman in the future. I believe she can
open her own company. This is the best choice for her.
Situation 6: Your friends are discussing what should they choose to
improve their appearance. There are some choices: Cosmetic surgery,
reconstructive surgery and use traditional therapy. Which do you think is
the best choice?

BL:
There are many ways to improve appearance, such as: Cosmetic surgery,
reconstructive surgery and use traditional therapy. however, from my point of
view, useing traditional therapy is best.
First of all, it won't cost as much as Cosmetic surgery or reconstructive
surgery. Besides, the ways to improve appearance related to surgery often bring
many risks. For example, a recent article reported that a woman died during breast
augmentation surgery because doctors used poor quality silicone. this is scary.
However, there is no denying that today many people still choose Cosmetic
surgery or reconstructive surgery because it simply does not take too much time.
though, if I were you, I would choose the way with the least amount of risks. I
think so.

Situation 7: You and your friends are planning to go away on a week’s

holiday. Three places are suggested: a farm-stay, a beach city or a
camping site in a mountainous area. Which do you think is the best
choice?

BL:
The holidays are coming, me and my friends are planning to go somewhere far
away. We have 3 suggestions for our trip: a beach city ,a camping site in a
mountainous area or a farm-stay. Going to the beach is not a good choice because
it is too familiar and boring for us. Camping in a mountainous area is also a good
idea. But I'm afraid it's not safe because climbing is quite dangerous. Also, in the

evening we may encounter wild animals or snakes I think going on a farm-stay
vacation is the best choice. Farmstay is a type of perfect combination between
resort space in the countryside and modern facilities and amenities. Coming to
farmstay, we can not only rest, relax, immerse ourselves in nature but also
experience interesting activities at the farm itself such as planting trees, harvesting
vegetables, feeding cattle, working at farm, cooking, etc. In addition, we can light a
campfire and dance together under the moonlight. This is probably the best option.
I think it will be very interesting and leave a lot of memorable experiences. I am
looking forward to this trip.

Situation 8: The computers at your friend’s company always have

troubles when they are working. He wants to solve those problems as
soon as possible. There are some choices: buying a 24-7 service from a
company, hiring an IT engineer and buying new computers. Which do
you think is the best choice?
(Máy tính ở công ty của bạn bạn luôn gặp trục trặc khi họ đang làm việc. Anh ấy

The computers at my friend’s company always have troubles when they are
working. He wants to solve those problems as soon as possible. From my point of
view, Buying a new computer is the best solution.
First of all, if you choose to buy a 24-7 service from a company or hire an IT
engineer, you can't be sure that your computer won't crash again. right. Imagine if
your computer is used for a while then it crashes again and you have to constantly
hire people to fix it. that's troublesome, especially when you really need to use the
computer. Besides, the repair period may be long, which will greatly affect your
work. However, there's no denying that buying a 24-7 service from a company or
hiring an IT engineer won't cost as much as buying a new computer. though, if I
were my friend, I would buy a new computer so that I can work without
interruption for a long time, I think so.

Situation 9: You are on the bus to your school. The bus is very crowded
and a man is speaking on the phone very loudly. What would you like to
do? ask him to stop, complain to the bus staffs or get out of the bus?

When I was on the bus to school, if the bus was very crowded and there was a man
talking on the phone very loudly, I would choose to speak to him and ask him to
stop. Firstly, I cannot try to complain to the bus staff or get off the bus because the
bus is very crowded, which can affect other people and make them more
uncomfortable. Second, I will tell that man: "please keep order because you say the
phone is too loud, it will affect everyone around". I think my actions will help him
understand what he is doing is wrong and keep the atmosphere from becoming
tense.

Situation 10: If you are a billionaire. Which would you like to invest
money to save the world: opening a zoo to take care of endanger species,
building up natural parks for wild animals and plants or holding
campaigns to protect environment all over the world.

BL:
If i am a billionaire. there are many ways I can save the world with my money,
such as: opening a zoo to take care of endangering species, building up natural
parks for wild animals and plants or holding campaigns to protect environment all
over the world. Every action makes a lot of sense. however, I will invest my
money in building up natural parks for wild animals and plants. because first of all,
I feel wild animals thrive best in the wild instead of keeping them in small
environments like zoos. although it is undeniable that they will be well taken care
of by humans while they live here. but from my point of view, leaving animals in a
zoo is like confining them . this is not good. Besides, holding campaigns to protect
environment all over the world is not a bad choice. however, I am afraid it will not
be continuous and the success of such campaigns largely depends on human
awareness. Therefore, I will invest money in building up natural parks for wild
animals and plants because it is the most concrete and feasible action. I think so.
