INTRODUCTION
her workplace does have communication problems and issues. These issues could include
faulty technology, an inability to send emails, the occurrence of emergencies, the employers'
busy schedules, which prevent employees from interacting with them, an inability to
comprehend instructions, which results in subpar work performance, and so on. Because
without effective communication, proper instructions cannot be given, equipment and
supplies cannot be ordered, progress cannot be measured, and goods and services cannot
be delivered to customers, it is crucial to develop strategies for implementing effective
communication practices within the organization. The five main managerial functions of
planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling are entirely dependent upon effective
communication (Conrad, 2014). her colleagues acquire knowledge and information through
2
research and other aspects, but how this knowledge and information is communicated to the
workforce matters the most, as it would contribute to the development of the organization. A
vital development appropriates interpersonal relationships within the organization to achieve
the desired goals and objectives.
Sexual harassment is extremely intimidating, worrying, and upsetting for the employees. The
conduct largely interferes with the work of the employees, due to the feelings of fear and
anxiety, they find it difficult to even concentrate on their work, in this way their performance
gets affected in a negative manner. Their conduct of sexual harassment is humiliating, and it
may also influence the health of her colleagues. Their employees do not feel safe at the
workplace and the working environment conditions become very intimidating offensive, and
aggressive. The ultimate outcome of sexual harassment is pain, stress, trauma, and
emotional suffering (The Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace, 2006).
The introduction of effective prevention techniques would help to resolve concerns and
problems. While some issues are insurmountable for individuals to resolve, others can be
resolved through preventative measures. Establish Regular Team or Group Meetings -
Group meetings give people the chance to discuss their roles, responsibilities, and authority,
as well as their goals, objectives, and expectations. They also give people a chance to
express their appreciation and receive feedback from others. Group meetings also give
people the chance to share information about the organization's activities.
Ask for feedback – it is vital to build and foster two-way relations with your employees.
Engage in an active dialogue and do it on a regular basis. For communication in the
workplace to be effective and honest, employers need to make sure that employees have a
positive work environment where each employee feels comfortable enough to express their
ideas, ask questions, make suggestions, and raise concerns. Employers show their
3
employees that you value their input and that their voices are hard. Ask for feedback from
your employees that will help to understand in which areas the business is running smoothly,
and which one could use some help.
CONCLUSION
Employees' troubles and concerns at work are related to their employers, their job
responsibilities, their working environment, and the availability of resources, supplies, and
equipment. The organization of regular team or group meetings, promoting participatory
management, employee training programs, determining the substance of various job
assignments, and employee evaluation are examples of preventative methods that help to
solve some workplace issues. There are some issues and problems to which solutions can
be devised, such as when employees have problems in working on a task or an assignment,
they are facing difficulties, then they can consult their supervisors to solve their problems. It
is vital to treat all individuals and women with respect and kindness and there should not be
any kind of discrimination based on caste, creed, race, religion, ethnicity, or socio-economic
background.
