Question 01:
Licensed and Pirated Software:

Licensed Software:
A software license is a document that provides legally binding guidelines
for the use and distribution of software. Software licenses generally grant end users the right to
one or more copies of the software without infringing copyrights.
Software licenses are usually proprietary, free or open source. Exclusivity is the
terms under which users may redistribute or copy the software for future development or use.
Example: This category of software license is the most popular open source license type. The
most popular examples of this category are the Apache license, the BSD license, and the most
common MIT license weak copyleft. The GNU Lesser General Public License is known as a "weak
copyleft" style license.

Pirated Software:
Software piracy is the illegal copying, installation, use, distribution or
sale of software as specified in the license agreement. The software industry is facing huge
financial loss due to software piracy. Software piracy is practiced by end users as well as
dealers.
It is such a lucrative "business" that it has attracted the attention of organized
crime groups in many countries. According to the Business Software Alliance (BSA),
approximately 36% of software in current use is stolen.
Example: An example of software piracy is when you download a copy of Microsoft Word from
a file sharing website without paying. (legal term) Unauthorized copying of certain purchased
software. Most software programs purchased are licensed for use by only one user or only at
one computer site.
Question 02:
Software for Business
There are many different types of business software. Deciding which one is best for your
business isn't always easy and often depends on:

 The size of your business

 The particular needs of your business
 The tasks that need to be automated

 Word processing program:

Word processing refers to using a computer to create, edit, save and
print documents. Special software (called a word processor) is required to perform word
processing. An example of a word processor is Microsoft Word, but other word processing
applications are also widely used.
These programs allow users to create a wide variety of documents including
newsletters and brochures. In addition to typing text, the word processor allows you to add
images, tables, and charts, as well as decorative elements including borders and clipart to your
documents.
The word processor's editing and formatting capabilities reveal the true power of
the application. Text can be inserted, edited, moved, copied or deleted in your document and
the appearance of text can be changed in a number of ways. Most word processors also give
you the ability to check your spelling and grammar, and many have built-in dictionaries and
other tools to help you with your writing.

 Database software:
Database software is a software program or utility used to create,
modify, and maintain database files and records. This type of software allows users to store
data in the form of structured fields, tables, and columns, which can then be retrieved directly
and/or through programmatic access.
Database software is also known as database management software (DBMS),
although these terms are not exact synonyms.
Database software is primarily used to store and manage data/databases,
usually in a structured format. It typically provides a graphical interface that allows users to
create, edit, and manage data fields and records in a tabular or structured format.
Data/database stored using this software can be retrieved in raw or report based format.
Although database software is similar to database management software (DBMS),
most database software lacks local language support, such as SQL, MySQL or any other
database query language. . For example, MS Access software allows users to create, manage,
and query databases using its GUI controls and features without writing programming queries.
 Desktop Publishing Software

Desktop publishing software creates sequences of text

and media files for publication in print or digital formats, such as newspapers, magazines,
brochures, ebooks, blogs, and online publications. These solutions allow for proper alignment
of text and images according to publication guidelines or user preferences.
Users can use pre-made templates or create pages from scratch using the drag-and-
drop page builder. Desktop publishing software can be used by any organization involved in
publishing print or digital content, including graphic design, advertising, and publishing
companies. It is also often used by the design team in an organization to create marketing
materials.
To be included in the desktop publishing category, a product must:
Provide templates for creating layouts for publishable materials (eg newsletters and flyers).
Offer tools for optimizing layouts, such as detailed rulers, text wrapping, and photo layering
Enable files to be uploaded online or printed on configured pages using external printers
