1ST Quarter Oral Com Pre Calculus
II. DIRECTIONS
Goal: The student will write a poem, recite the poem and record the poem and save it as mp4. The
content of the poem must contain key concepts of conic section; its meaning, parts, equations, and
examples in real-life situations. The length of the video should not exceed to 5 minutes but not less than 2
minutes.
Role: He/she will act as a writer and a poet at the same time.
Audience: Teachers and classmates.
Situation: The student will create a poem containing the key concepts of conic sections. He/she may
choose one of the types of conic sections or use them all in the poem. Student will recite and record the
poem he created.
Product: A video recording of his/her own poem.
