I have chosen Australia for its landscapes and its great variety of animal species.

Australia is a country surrounded by the Indian and Pacific oceans and It is located in Oceania.

Australia is the sixth largest country in the world and the country's population is more than 25
million habitants, concentrated mainly in the large coastal cities that are Sydney, Melbourne,
Brisbane, Perth and its capital Canberra.

English is the official language, although Aboriginal languages are also spoken in some areas,
and its currency is the Australian dollar.

33% of the island, especially in the center, is desert, so most Australians live on the coast and
the beaches are the main attraction of the country.

This country has unique animal species such as the kangaroo and the koala, but it is also where
the most dangerous species in the world are found, such as crocodiles, sharks, spiders and
snakes.

Australia does not have its own gastronomic culture, so they have taken everything from other
cultures. But the most characteristic food is the barbecues with kangaroo and crocodile meat.

Sydney is the oldest and most populous city in the country. The landmarks of the city are the
Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbor Bridge, Sydney Harbour, Bondie Beach and The Rocks,
which is the oldest neighborhood in the city. Another interesting place near Sydney is the Blue
Mountains National Park, which is famous for the rock formations known as the Three Sisters.

Melbourne is the second largest city in Australia and is known as the capital of sports, because
many sports competitions are held there, such as the Australian tennis open. One of the
tourist attractions is the Great Ocean road, which is a road that runs along the coast until it
reaches the monument of the 12 apostles. Another of the most emblematic places is Brighton
beach and its famous bathouses. Also, not far away is the Great Otways National Park.

Brisbane is Australia's third largest city. It is a quiet city that combines modernity and nature.
The most visited places are Story Bridge, which is the most emblematic bridge in the city, Lone
Pine Sanctuary, the oldest and largest koala sanctuary in the world and is the most visited
place in the city. Very close to Brisbane is the island of Moreton Island, which is the 3rd largest
sand island in the world.

Perth is the most isolated metropolis on the planet. Its most touristic places are the Fremantle
prison, the beaches of the Sunshine Coast, the Swan River and its pier, and not far from the
city is the Pinnacles Desert within the Nambung National Park.

Canberra is one of the world's least known capitals. It was decided that this was going to be
the capital due to a dispute between Sydney and Melbourne. Its most emblematic places are
Lake Burley Griffin, the new Australian parliament, which is one of the most emblematic
buildings in the city, the national library of Australia, the War memorial, and the National
Arboretum.

Australia is the main destination for diving since the Great Barrier Reef of about 3000 km in
length with more than 1500 species of fish is found here.
