DAY :1

- Joined Senior’s office.

- Associated with a Junior Advocate and was given a brief about the hierarchy of Civil
Courts and Criminal Courts.

- Went to Trichirappalli Combined Court’s Campus along with the Senior.

- Observed Courtroom proceedings in Civil cases.

- Observed cross-examination conducted in a suit for a permanent injunction.

DAY – 2:

- Assisted in drafting legal notice for a partition dispute.

- Prepared draft of Caveat petition to be filed before Manapparai Munsif Court, Trichy
Sub Court, and Trichy District Court.
- Went to Trichy District Court and observed filing procedures along with Advocate
Clerk.

DAY – 3:

- Did research work on current legal developments in the Law of Easement.

- Participated in Senior’s discussion with the Client with Consumer Dispute problem.

- Assisted in drafting consumer complaints for selling the fake phone as branded.

- Went to II Additional Subordinate Judge’s Court, Trichy, and observed an Enquiry in

an interlocutory application seeking a temporary injunction in a suit for declaration of
title.

DAY – 4:
 - Participated in client discussion with a dispute in right of share in their ancestral
property.

- Made research on family law and the law regarding division of ancestral property
and the right of share of a granddaughter in the property of a grandfather who died
intestate.

- Assisted in the drafting of caveat petition before Manapparai Munsif Court and
Tiruchirappalli Sub Court.

- Went to Additional District Munsif Court, Manapparai, and observed court

proceedings.

- Observed cross-examination of a witness in a suit for a permanent injunction.

DAY – 5:

- Observed drafting of rent agreement between the landlord and tenant for renting a
building for runXerox shop for 11 months.
- Assisted in drafting a legal notice to the
- Went to the court of subordinate judge of Tiruchirappalli and witnessed the cross-
examination of the partition case.

DAY-6

- Went to Manaparai police station to assist the client to complain about the
chain snatching case.
- We filed the complaint and we got the CSR copy.

Day 7
- Did research on supreme court citations in respect of sec 6 of the Hindu succession act.
- Assisted in drafting plaint regarding the und of money borrowed through a promissory note.
- Went to Principal District Judge's Court of Trichirappalli and observed arguments made in a
first appeal arising out of a suit for declaration of title and permanent injunction.

Day 8
- Went along with the Junior Advocate for Advocate Commissioner's inspection of a property
in dispute.
- Observed the process of the Commissioner's inspection. Learned about the ways and
procedures in which land is measured by revenue department officials.
- Learnt about the survey records and their uses and purposes.
- Learnt about measurements and physical features of a property and its correlation with
resolving a dispute before a court of law.
Day 9
- Went to Manapparai Police station and assisted a client in drafting a complaint u/s. 324 of
IPC.
- Went to Additional District Munsif court, Manapparai, and observed an argument in a
mortgage suit.
- Did research on the law of limitation and its application in cheque dishonor cases.

Day 10
- Participated in a client consultation along with the senior in a dispute in respect of
defamation alleged to have happened through a local TV channel.
- Assisted in drafting legal notice for defamation on behalf of the client.
- Went to Manapparai Police station to receive CSR receipt for the complaint already lodged.
-Learnt clerical works in preparing a plaint before filing.

Day 11
- Went to the court of III additional Sub Judge, Trichy, and observed case proceedings in
motor accident claim cases.
- Observed cross-examination of the officials of the Insurance company in the motor accident
claim cases.
- Went to Family Court, Trichy, and observed cross-examination in a divorce case filed by a
wife who was deserted by her husband.
- Assisted the clerk in filing plaint and learned the procedures to follow before filing.

Day 12
- Did legal research on the current trend and legal developments in liability of an insurance
company in motor accident claim cases.
- Went to IInd Additional District Judge's Court in Trichy and observed final arguments made
in a suit for specific performance.
- Attended a lecture arranged by the Trichirappalli Bar association on the current trend of
Hindu Law.
- Assisted in the drafting of a legal notice against the City corporation of Trichirappalli for
unwanted increment in property taxes on behalf of a client.

Day 13
- Went to Madurai Bench of Madras High court and observed the court proceedings.
- Observed final argument made in a civil revision petition filed against an order passed by
additional district music of Malappuram in an interlocutory application seeking appointment
of Advocate Commissioner in a civil case.
- Learnt about the filing procedure of caveat before the Hon'ble High Court.

Day 14
-Went to Judicial Magistrate's Court in Manapparai and observed the court proceedings.
- Went to I an additional District Judge's court in Trichy and observed the questioning session
of the accused in a murder trial. 
- Went to II Additional Sub Court of Trichy and observed a final argument made in a suit for
redemption of the mortgage.
- Learned about exparte proceedings in general.

Day 15
- participated in a client consultation in respect of a family dispute between husband and wife
seeking a divorce. 
- involved in the counseling session by the senior to the client who sought divorce from her
husband.
- Did legal research on the laws governing custody of a child in case of separation of parents.
- Assisted in drafting caveat application to be filed before Munsif Court, Manapparai.

Day 16
- Went to the legal aid authority of Trichirappalli and observed the proceedings before the
mediators.
- Learnt the practice followed in Lok Adalat and observed a few Lok Adalat proceedings.
- Went to Principal. District Judge's court of Trichirappalli observed the arguments in bail
applications and anticipatory bail applications.
- Observed final arguments in criminal appeal cases.

Day 17
- Went before the Rent control tribunal of Trichirappalli and observed the proceedings before
the tribunal.
- Learnt the filing procedures to be followed before the rent control authority.
- Did legal research on the ground under which a landlord can seek eviction of his tenant.
- Participated in client consultation of my senior in respect of a dispute involving a violation
of trademark.
- Observed drafting of a notice on behalf of the client to stop infringement of his registered
trademark by his neighboring shop owner.

Day 18
- Went to Additional District Munsif Court, Manapparai, and observed the courtroom
proceedings.
- Observed the examination in chief of a witness in a suit for specific performance.
- Did legal research on legal principles governing the marking of documents.
- Did legal research on the law of evidence regarding marking of secondary evidence and its
value before a court of law.
- Participated in the drafting of chief- in- affidavit of a witness.
- Observed the procedures followed in marking a document before a court of law.

Day 19
- Went to the Principal Subordinate Judge's Court of Trichy and observed an argument in the
first appeal against the dismissal of a suit for partition.
- Went along with the junior advocate for inspection of a property to fix its fair rent upon the
court's appointment of advocate commissioner.
- Learnt about the necessary components to be considered to fix fair rent for a building.
- Did legal research on the new Tamilnadu build lease control act and the changes it brought
from the old act.
- Went to the Rent control authority and filed a case for eviction along with the advocate
clerk.

Day 20.
- Went to Principal District Judge's court in Trichy and observed final arguments made in the
first appeal against a decree passed in a specific performance suit.
- Did legal research on "readiness and willingness" In specific performance suits.
- participated in a client consultation along with a senior in respect of a dispute regarding the
demarcation of boundaries between our client and his neighboring plot owner.
- Went on to a physical inspection of property along with the senior to know the features of a
property before drafting a case.
- Learn about the legal ethics and basic practices to be followed by an Advocate from the
senior
