TIME MANAGEMENT
Reason: Math helps us to do better time management. The importance of math is reflected in time
management tasks.
Setbacks: No time to rest, recovery disappears from the lives of people who are more concerned
about time management than their personal abilities. They waste most of their time planning instead
of acting.

INVESTMENT
Reason: Math helps you to calculate the risk before investing money in some financial scheme.
Setbacks: High expense ratios and sales charges. If you are not paying attention to mutual fund
expense ratios and sales charges; they can get out of hand.

Automobile Industry
Reason: Automobile Industry manufacturers must understand the demand to build the right number
of vehicles.
Setbacks: Costing and how many models can produce.

Software for Computers

Reason: Without a question, computer science involves a significant amout of math. It’s impossible to
envisage a computer system without mathematical processes.
Setbacks: Mathematical errors and several solutions.

Fitness
Reason: Math is quite useful to stay fit and healthy. With proper understanding of math, we can
calculate how much food we require in our daily life. How much calorie intake do we expect to stay
fit?
Apart from that, we can choose which food will give us how much calories and fat.
Setbacks: Consumer who do not understand what they are buying are more likely to overpay, over
indulge, or be mislead by what they think they understand whey are presented with “50% fewer
calories” or misleading 99% fat-free stamps. We are constantly “snowed” by numbers that we are not
certain are meaningful.

I appreciate buying in market because you can get discount.

Bus/Jeep - Asking how much the fare is.

I appreciate riding a jeep because you can ask the next person to deliver your fare to the driver.

Church - When father read the bible, he said “John 16:33”.

I appreciate going to church because you learn what is right and wrong.

Club Meeting - they will ask you to pay for membership fee.
I appreciate club meetings because you will learn on your co students.

Clinic- Healthcare professionals use math everyday like calculation dosages, interpreting medical
research, and CAT scans and X-rays.
I appreciate clinic because if you are sick you can go there and ask for medication.
Court - In court trials, natural sciences such as physics and biology routinely make an appearance, e.g.
when estimating the speed of a vehicle based on impact damage or trying to deduce from the
condition of a corpse how long ago the person died.
I appreciate court because you can defend yourself in court when you are falsely accuse.

Laboratory - The laboratory gives greater scope for individual participation. It encourages students to
become autonomous learners and allows an individual student to learn at his or her own pace.
I appreciate laboratory because you will experience the experiment that your teacher conducting.

Birthday Party - You are counting how many who attends and who do not attends.
I appreciate party because there is a celebration.

Watching Games - Sometimes watching games involves money.

I appreciate watching game because you can escape boredom.

Police Station - Police use mathematics everyday on their job to solve crimes. Policemen jobs are to
find out what happened at the sight of the scene of the crime or accident.
I appreciate police station if you have problems you can rely on them sometimes not all the times.
