1.

Good evening teacher and colleagues, I will present my pecha kucha presentation on
the biography of Lionel Messi.

2. Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini, known as Leo Messi, is an Argentine footballer who
plays as a forward or midfielder. Historical player of the Barcelona Football Club, but
now is player of the PSG.

3. Known as Leo or Pulga, his immense quality was already apparent when he was five
years old and playing in the neighborhood club of his hometown. From the age of
seven, he began playing in the lower divisions of Newell's Old Boys from Rosario.

4. At the age of 10, about to make the leap to the River Plate club in Buenos Aires, a
delay in bone development caused by a low level of growth hormones was detected;
medical treatment was very expensive

5. In September 2000, Leo Messi carried out a trial at F.C. Barcelona; coach Carles Rexach
was amazed at his soccer talent and, in effect, signing a contract on a paper napkin.
Messi was then thirteen years old and measured 1.40.

6. His official debut in the first division with the Barça shirt took place on October 16,
2004 in Montjuic, in the classic derby with Espanyol de Barcelona.

7. At the age of 17, La Pulga scored his first goal as a professional for Barça in a match
against Albacete, and became the youngest player on the Barça team to score a goal in
the Spanish League.

8. In 2004, at the age of 17, Leo Messi played his first official match in the Spanish
League. At the age of 18, he was part of the Argentine team, champion in the Under-
20 Youth World Cup in the Netherlands, played in 2005.

9. In 2006-2007 things did not go so well for Barça, who did not win any major titles, but
Messi delighted the fans with spectacular plays that already nominated him among the
best players in the world.

10. Another stellar moment in Leo Messi's biography was his feat on April 18 of that same
year, in the semifinals of the Copa del Rey against Getafe, when he dribbled past five
players, goalkeeper included, and scored his team's second goal .

11. FC Barcelona began the 2008-2009 season with Guardiola as manager, winning the
Copa del Rey, the League and the Champions League in the same season.

12. The three titles obtained in the 2008-2009 season gave the club access to as many
tournaments at the beginning of the following one, before the end of the year: the
Spanish Super Cup, the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup. Barça was the
winner in all of them, winning 6 trophies in one year.
13. With Spain's victory in the 2010 World Cup, some of Messi's teammates at F.C.
Barcelona had managed to include all possible trophies in their showcases; For the
Argentine, this was still a pending issue.

14. In the final against Germany in the 2014 world cup, they ended up losing in extra time
with a goal from Mario Gotze.

15. At the end of this world cup, thousands of reporters came out to criticize Messi for not
bringing the world cup to Argentina, many nicknamed him "pecho frio"

16. Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi are the players with the most Ballon d'Ors they have in
their possession, behind are Cruff, Platini and Van Basten with 3 each. Messi has a
total of seven Golden Balls

17. Lionel Messi's sports career is full of titles. The Argentinian PSG player has not stopped
making history at Barcelona and Argentina, where he has been accumulating trophies
season after season. La Pulga now has 41 professional titles in his career

18. The Cristiano-Messi Rivalry is a sporting rivalry encouraged by the media and fans
involving footballers Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Together they have achieved
various historical achievements in the sport, coming to be considered as two of the
best footballers of all time.

19. This year, Messi will play his last world final, this year's Argentine team is one of the
favorites to win the cup and it would be nice if Messi said goodbye to football by
winning the only trophy he still doesn't have.

20. Thank you teacher and colleagues for listening to my presentation on the biography of
