Low weight
Making a reliable, adaptable and easy-to-pitch tent that is heavy doesn’t meet our standards. But neither does creating a tent that is
super light at the expense of any of our other criteria. The key to our low weight principle is that we never consider the weight an end in
itself, but as the mortar that binds our other criteria together. The development of both our lightweight Kerlon 1200 for Red Label tents
and our even lighter Kerlon 1000 for Yellow Label tents produced a number of choices. In both cases, we opted for the ones that best
Being able to rely completely on your tent is crucial, no matter what kind of adventure you favor. Whether your passion is winter expeditions, backpacking in the summertime, or traveling
around the world – and especially whenever you venture far away from civilization – your tent needs to be strong and comfortable in any conditions you encounter. Here a Nammatj is balanced light weight and strength. We could have chosen a lighter fabric, but it simply would not have met our standards. Our ultimate

Linda Baer

Linda Baer is a Swiss graphic designer who is a self-described lover of “remoteness, high mountains and vast deserts – adventures away from the tourism industry.” In 2015,
she set out on her bike, eventually spending 20 months cycling about 22,000 km (13,670 miles) through 20 countries. Traveling south from Switzerland, she rode through
Italy, the Balkans and Greece, continued through Turkey, and into the Caucasus, stopping in Kyrgyzstan. From there, she flew to, and then biked through, Southeast Asia
before flying to New Zealand for a tour of both islands. Next came Australia, which she rode from south to north before flying to northern India for more cycling. She then
flew back to Kyrgyzstan, where she switched from her bike to a van for the trip home to Switzerland. “I wanted to see and explore the world without any final destination
