Analysis and Interpretation:


There were 158 Grade 2 learners who took the Regional Diagnostic Assessment in Mathematics.
Based on the result, the percentage achieved by the learners in MPL was 8.86% or
9%, therefore 91.14% or 91% of the pupils did not meet the desired MPL.
The table shows the 10 Most and Least Learned Competencies and their corresponding rank
according to the level of difficulty of the test items. For the Most Learned Competencies, rank 1 is
item number 1 which covers tVisualizes, represents and counts numbers from 0 to 100 using a
variety of materials and methods., while item number 3 which competency is to reads and writes
numbers up to 100 in symbols and in words.. 10 in Least Learned Competencies.
