What is Phishing?
It is a sort of online threat when an attacker delivers a false message intended to
fool a person into giving the attacker sensitive informationm to install malicious
software, and asking you to fill up your personal data. It is usually encountered when
someone sent you a message, email, or a link from a random person.
What is it’s purpose? What are they trying to achieve? Its purpose is to obtain
sensitive personal data such as passwords, financial information, system credentials
and credit card information. If you click on a phishing link, the attacker will
automatically receive some basic data, such as your device statistics, approximate
location and any other information you may have voluntarily provided.
